"The news you are about to read puts everything else in the category of "insignificant" by comparison. Concerned about the 2012 U.S. presidential election? Worried about GMOs? Fluoride? Vaccines? Secret prisons? None of that even matters if we don't solve the problem of Fukushima reactor No. 4, which is on the verge of a catastrophic failure that could unleash enough radiation to end human civilization on our planet. (See the numbers below.)"Learn more: http://www.naturalnews.com/035789_Fukus "Although I hate to call for the UN to do anything at all, as it is a criminal globalist organization engaged in widespread sex slave trafficking, child abuse and mass murder, the UN definitely has some pull with governments around the world. The petition linked below calls for the UN to take immediate, decisive action to deal with Fukushima reactor No. 4 before it's too late and we all get "Fuk'ed" beyond repair. http://fukushima.greenaction-japan.org/ This petition calls for two actions: 1. The United Nations should organize a Nuclear Security Summit to take up the crucial problem of the Fukushima Daiichi Unit 4 spent nuclear fuel pool. 2. The United Nations should establish an independent assessment team on Fukushima Daiichi Unit 4 and coordinate international assistance in order to stabilize the unit's spent nuclear fuel and prevent radiological consequences with potentially catastrophic consequences." amelia, I wouldn't let anyone at or from the United Nations work on my toaster; let alone a nuclear reactor. You know....evidenced by your comments, that the UN is the biggest collection of corrupt, incompetent boobs on planet earth..or at least tied with the current occupants of the White House. Amelia, thank you for taking the time to post this. I was not aware things had gotten that critical. I did find it curious how quickly and abruptly the media stopped reporting on the disaster after it happened. This really needs to be brought to more people's attention!IP: Logged |

hmmm... not to sure if I would go to the extend of ending humankind. The Cascadia fault which is an extension of the San Andreas fault and the Yellow Stone Hotspot/Supervolcano are more dangerous. But, British Columbia and some parts of California have reported some exposure to small amounts of radiation and cows that were milked tested positive for radiation. Small amounts aren't bad as long as the exposure is kept low. Heck, all of us on lindaland have already received some exposure from are laptops/desktops or which ever electronics we use to view the site. The bigger problem is how the Japanese Government handled the disaster and continue to do. There is no way Japan is capable of handling it themselves look at how the tsunami was handled, maybe if it was earthquake that would be a different story. Plus Japan wouldn't be able to financially handle anything, by 2020 Japan will no longer be a world power because of massive debt, natural disasters and a high number of senior citizens. The culture doesn't help either. The Japanese always pride themselves as being innovative they failed at disaster recovery. The USSR handled and reacted to the Chernobyl disaster way better. A lot of the fallout from Chernobyl has at least being contained. With a couple active volcanoes you would think the Japanese would have first thought of Geothermal energy as oppose to Nuclear Energy. --------------------------------------- Capircorn Rising Gemini Sun, 5th House Aries Moon Mercury in Gemini Venus In Taurus IP: Logged |

well they HAVE thought of SHUTTING DOWN all their reactors BEFORE this can happen again. the japanese people i know are not talking about this even with family abroad, so hard to say how the japanese are being affected on a real basis, but i did read a story about how elderly japanese folk have VOLUNTEERED to help with clean up, etc...to save younger generations. no government forced them to do this; whether cleanup is even a possibility we have no way of knowing. perhaps the "powers that be" are afraid of the ensuing panic if they let out real data. but what is on the "conspiracy" sites is far worse... i lately heard from a very skeptical source that the kelp in SF bay is showing signs of extra radiation... knowledge of how bad this actually is would be a good thing, yet on my thread on the same subject, jwhop is reducing it to "crackpot politicians" being interested. time to take off your campaign hat perhaps? I understand that its for safety purposes but I think, UN still needs to give Japan a chance to solve the problem by themselves first.IP: Logged |

so it's okay with everyone to leave the job to japan, a tiny country already under huge stress due to fukishima...of cleaning up the entire pacific ocean and protecting OUR shores from the debris and poison fish now showing up here?this is hardly a japanese problem anymore, if it ever was. if not the UN, then the US should be doing something - if anything is to be done. otherwise, it's "mutate or die" time, folks. enjoy!
