It's clear that taking more than half a TRILLION dollars out of the Medicare budget will lead to rationing of health care for senior citizens...and others on Medicare.

It's clear that cutting doctor reimbursements for medical services rendered under Medicare and Medicaid will force doctors to stop taking Medicare and Medicaid patients OR close their doors..AND deter those entering college from seeking MD degrees.

It's clear taking up the shortage in doctors with nurse practitioners seeing patients in the place of doctors will result in reduced quality of medical services.

It's clear you cannot add 30 million people to the Medicare and Medicaid rolls and reduce the cost of medical insurance and medical services to US taxpayers.

All these provisions...and more..are contained in the abomination known as O'BomberCare.

I simply applied the old axiom..."it's better to remain silent and be thought a fool...than speak and confirm it for all to see."

We've been over several of these points already, but just for fun...

The Board is prohibited from submitting proposals that would ration care, increase revenues or change benefits, eligibility or Medicare beneficiary cost sharing (including Parts A and B premiums), or would result in a change in the beneficiary premium percentage or low-income subsidies under Part D. Hospitals and hospices (through 2019) and clinical labs (for one year) will not be subject to cost reductions proposed by the Board. The Board must also submit recommendations every other year to slow the growth in national health expenditures while preserving quality of care by January 1, 2015. http://www.kff.org/healthreform/upload/8061.pdf
