Posse Comitatus clearly does not work. Police departments outside of the NYPD and LAPD are ill equipped and lack know-how.

Like I say, the muzzles of a couple of SA80s, M4s and MP5s make everyone behave very well. And if you are a terrorist, then you would be welcomed with a nice PSG1.

the non commercial olympic games sponsors won't stand for competition on THEIR turf.

i understand YTA came here for the free market! you are free to buy whatever the soldiers tell you to, great use of the armed forces, to protect businesses from consumers who won't cooperate.

As I was saying, if you like totalitarian government, feel free to move where the climate is right for you. Moving to America then ridiculing its tradition of protection for the people is just not cool.

The fact that Wall Street PROFITS off of the military industrial complex's overtake of regular society means, you probably have a vested interest in totalitarianism.

but martial law is not desirable IMO except in the most dire circumstances. those who appreciate LIBERTY do not swallow soldiers in the streets easily.

i find it hard to believe even now that those who preach SMALL government are okay with an ever-increasing main street use of armed forces.

ami, if you want to play cheerleader that is fine, but this is a discussion board and i can pretty much guarantee YTA posted this thread to start a discussion, not to set a bunch of nodding dolls in motion.

True, and it's evident in the militarization of the police force. Where, again, there is a lot of money to be made. Who is making the money? The power elite.
