And now, more lying deception and drivel from the O'Bomber campaign.

Today, Joe 'Plugs' O'Biden told an audience with about 50% African Americans that Romney would put them back in chains.

It's desperation time at O'Bomber/O'biden campaign headquarters.

The best outcome would be that the dud duo get involuntarily retired in November and disappear from the American political scene.

that was part of a sentence or two, jwhop, and the metaphor was continued from the sentence before...which was about taking the chains OFF of wall street...and putting the rest of us back in them.

fair enough considering the POVs of the opponents' bylines.

are you suggesting that biden wants the darkies to think slavery is coming back? or would you wager, like me, that those present probably were more intelligent than to take such language literally?

limbaugh seemed to think that because there were dark faces in the crowd they would be terrified of reinstatement of slavery...

but let's not mention the fact that the "y'all" is aimed at the SOUTHERNERS in the crowd (the meeting was in the south) and not biden's attempt to speak darkiese.

Yeah, and Romney decried Biden's talk of coal mines, despite having closed a coal mine himself when he was governor citing the fact that it "killed people."

Then there's the Medicare ad they put out that cites the ACA as taking money out of Medicare without conveying the fact that there has been no cuts to any benefits to any seniors:

In a statement, Lis Smith, a spokeswoman for the Obama campaign, called the ad "dishonest and hypocritical."

"The savings his ad attacks do not cut a single guaranteed Medicare benefit, and Mitt Romney embraced the very same savings when he promised he'd sign Paul Ryan's budget," she said. "Because the president is eliminating subsidies to insurance companies and cutting waste and fraud, we've extended the life of Medicare by eight years." http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/romney-ad-attacks-obama-medicare-191139513.html

We could play this game all day.

Hahaha

Joe "Plugs" O'Biden said what he said to a primarily black audience...ROMNEY WILL PUT Y'ALL BACK IN CHAINS.

The One, The Messiah O'Bomber said what he said...If you own a business...YOU DIDN'T BUILD THAT..SOMEONE ELSE DID THAT

I'm not surprised the usual suspects are out trying to divert attention from what the dud duo said...and divert attenion from the utter failure of their little Marxist Messiah in every area of governance.

On the Medicare front...The ONE, The MESSIAH O'BOMBER is the only one who has taken a cent out of Medicare..or even proposes to do so. Not Romney. Not Ryan. Not Republicans. Not Conservatives.

Barack Hussein O'Bomber took $716 BILLION out of Medicare to fund his pile of crap known as O'BomberCare. This will cause rationing of healthcare to seniors. Additionally, our little Marxist twit lowered payments to health care providers...doctors who will be forced to stop taking those on Medicare as patients or go under. Additionally, this is a screaming warning to those with medical school on their minds. DONT GO THERE.

All the lying deception by O'Bomber and his Kool-Aid swilling supporters can't overcome the fact that the Marxist twit O'Bomber is plotting the destruction of the best health care delivery system in the world.

Ami, I think the hair transplant surgeon planted O'Biden's "plugs" too deep and it's affected his brain.

Yes Ryan, and yes Romney.

Stephanopoulos: "You know, several independent fact-checkers have taken a look at that claim, the $500 billion in Medicare cuts, and said that it's misleading. And in fact, by that accounting, your budget, your own budget, which Gov. Romney has endorsed, would also have $500 billion in Medicare cuts.

Paul: "Well, our budget keeps that money for Medicare to extend its solvency. What Obamacare does is it takes that money from Medicare to spend on Obamacare.

    ...

Still, Ryan himself said his plan did include the reductions in future spending that were part of the federal health care law.
    http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/aug/15/stephanie-cutter/ryans-plan-includes-700-billion-medicare-cuts-says/

Inconvenience strikes again! In truth, the "cuts" aren't technically cuts, because there's been no reduction in benefits, and that's true of both Obama's and Ryan's plans.

Yes, it's the little Marxist Messiah and only the little Marxist Messiah who has cut Medicare...$716 BILLION..and further, promises his Medicare cuts WILL NEVER BE UNDONE.

Wow and here's the usual suspects, plus the Marxist choir alleging it's Romney and Ryan who want to cut Medicare.

Who can believe a word the clowns say? Not me and that's for sure.

How about turning off the Socialist bullshiiit machine!

Obama Pledged His Medicare Cuts Are Here to Stay
By Matt Cover
August 14, 2012

(CNSNews.com) – President Barack Obama said in 2009 that the Medicare cuts he signed as part of his Obamacare health reform law would never be repealed, noting that nearly one-third of the bill’s funding came from cutting Medicare.

In a November 2009 interview with ABC News’ Jake Tapper, Obama acknowledged that a third of the funding for ObamaCare came from cutting Medicare.

ABC’s Jake Tapper: “One of the concerns about health care and how you pay for it: third of the funding comes from cuts to Medicare.”

President Obama: “Right.”

Tapper went on to ask Obama whether he would allow Congress to repeal or patch the Medicare cuts as it does every year with the so-called Doc Fix, a measure designed to ensure adequate reimbursement payments are maintained to doctors who care for patients covered by Medicare.

Obama said that his Medicare cuts were permanent and that he would never allow Congress to repeal them.

Tapper: “Are you willing to pledge that whatever cuts in Medicare are being made to fund health insurance – one third of it – that you will veto anything that tries to undo that?”

Obama: “Yes. I actually have said that it is important for us to make sure this thing is deficit neutral, without tricks. I said I wouldn’t sign a bill that didn’t meet that criteria.”

Obama’s health care law, the Affordable Care Act, will cut Medicare by an estimated $716 billion, according to the latest study from the Congressional Budget Office.

The cuts come largely from reductions in Medicare payments for things like hospital care and cuts to the Medicare Advantage program.

Obama and fellow Democrats have recently criticized the GOP over vice presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-Wisc.) plans to reform Medicare, saying that the Republican plan will “end Medicare as we know it.”

“Romney and Ryan are committed to a plan that would end Medicare as we know it. They would create a voucher system that would increase seniors' health costs,” Obama’s Deputy Campaign Manager Stephanie Cutter said in an e-mail to Obama supporters.

Ryan’s plans to change Medicare from a fee-for-service entitlement to a system using federal premium-support payments would not actually affect current seniors. Under Ryan’s proposal, those 55 and older would see no change in their current Medicare plans. Only those 54 and younger would need to use the premium-support model when they retire.***Note*** Under the Ryan Plan those 54 and younger would have the OPTION of taking regular Medicare OR being paid out of the treasury to buy their own medical insurance when they reach retirement age.

Like I said, they aren't really "cuts". No benefits were lost as a result. As such, it makes sense that Obama wouldn't care to turn those reforms around. Yes, they are the same reforms proposed in the Ryan budget.

wow, jwhop, that's a quick leap even for you. these two descriptions of the crowd are only a few hours apart, and look how the implication has GROWN ...

can i use that magnifying glass? it sure would help my portfolio!

it's also a great illustration of the chinese telephones you use for "news". embroidery, embroidery, embroidery.

fact of the matter is there are black faces in every crowd for the obama team. i wonder why?? but the whole group was addressed, which consisted apparently of "about 50% white faces", if you read what was left out of your first post!

This from O'Bomber's hometown newspaper!

SCRAPING BOTTOM
August 10, 2012

The television ad opens on a grim Joe Soptic, a 62-year-old former Kansas City steelworker. In 2001, he lost his job when the GST Steel plant — owned by Bain Capital and other investors — closed.

"When Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant, I lost my health care, and my family lost their health care," Soptic says. "And a short time after that, my wife became ill. ..." She died of cancer in 2006.

What's implied: Romney, who led Bain in the 1990s, is partly to blame for her death.

"I don't think Mitt Romney understands what he's done to people's lives by closing the plant," Soptic says in the ad.

The ad was released Tuesday by Priorities USA Action, a pro-Obama super PAC.

It didn't take long for truth-squadding journalists to show the gross deception in this ad.

Soptic's wife was receiving health insurance through her employer — not her husband's — at the time Soptic lost his job at GST Steel.

She didn't lose her coverage until 2002 or 2003, Soptic told CNN. By then, Soptic had found a job as a school custodian. He could have added her to his health insurance plan, but he declined for financial reasons. It wasn't until 2006 that Soptic's wife was diagnosed with cancer, five years after the plant closed.

Romney's role in the GST plant closing? None. The plant was closed two years after Romney left Bain.

What a vicious, shameful ad.

The Obama administration has tried to keep its distance from this. White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters, "I speak for the president. I do not speak for a third-party organization." Obama campaign spokeswoman Jen Psaki said, "We don't have any knowledge of the story of the family." (Turns out, Soptic told the same story in a May conference call hosted by the Obama campaign. But we digress.)

A shrug and a stonewall. Hey, we can't control these super PACs. They're independent operations. That's the law. Go talk to them. What about those deceptive Republican ads?

That's not good enough. Priorities USA Action was founded by Bill Burton, a former White House deputy press secretary, and Sean Sweeney, who was chief of staff to White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel. The PAC, like all super PACs, is supposed to operate independently of the campaign. But the PAC has one purpose: the president's re-election.

The right tactical decision by the White House might be to keep its distance. But the right ethical decision would be to call out the people working on the president's behalf for this dishonorable message.

Mr. President, lift the campaign. Call this ad what it is: a disgrace.

Pro-Romney Super PAC Twists Obama’s Words

A pro-Romney TV ad shows President Obama saying, “we tried our plan and it worked.” That twists his words way out of context. He was referring to his proposal to cut the deficit using both tax increases and spending cuts, like President Clinton. Obama wasn’t talking about past job creation efforts, as the ad would have viewers believe.

Restore Our Future, a super PAC founded by former Mitt Romney campaign staffers, went up with its new ad on Aug. 12. The ad, titled “Another Month,” is about Obama’s record on job creation. It starts by flashing headlines about the unemployment rate rising in July to 8.3 percent and asks, “If you had President Obama’s record, what would you do?”

It then features three video clips of Obama purportedly talking about his efforts to create jobs. But one of the clips is taken out of context — which isn’t the first time the president’s words have been twisted and used against him in a TV ad.

You get more delusional every day acoustic.

O'Bomber's plan hasn't worked, won't work and never could work. In fact, O'Bomber's plan has failed miserably everywhere it's been tired...and it has been tried before.

Neither has O'Bomber's "plan" to cut deficits or the national debt worked.

Budget deficits are so totally out of control that O'Bomber's lowest budget deficit dwarfs Bush's largest budget deficit.

As for O'Bomber's so called job creation, there isn't any. O'Bomber hasn't created a single net new job in almost 4 years. Fewer Americans are working in the O'Bomber economy than were working in the Bush economy.

Only the delusional O'Bomber Kool-Aid swillers don't understand this.

As for me, I want you to continue with your bullshiiit acoustic and not just for a day. I hope O'Bomber and his brain dead Socialist campaign staff continue to lie, twist and distort reality with their Marxist drivel...right up to and including November 6th.

Don't change a thing.

let's not forget that it's been established that romney was still the SOLE shareholder, and CEO, at bain capital until at least 2002, inconvenient for the story line that he had no part in all these trashings of companies, but FACT...according to his own submissions to the SEC.

and while ann romney complains that "every time we release something they just want more, so there will BE no more releases" about romney's taxes(although they have ony released the one item), romney himself is expecting us all to take his word for what was on those tax forms, claiming charitable donations (which yield tax relief) as another form of taxes, and insisting that harry reid needs to give PROOF for his allegations...

Hahaha I've already posted your delusional thinking for all to see acoustic..and recently but only some of your delusions because there's so much delusion on your part that it's a target rich environment.

This election is going to be about the economy..and O'Bomber utter failure as prez.

Only 39% approve O'Bomber's job performance. 54% disapprove...and these are "registered voters" not "likely voters" as tracked by Gallup.

Typically, "likely voters" give O'Bomber even worse marks.

This is a new low in job approval and a new high in job disapproval...as tracked by Gallup.

The O'Bomber deceptions aren't working with the American people.
