This man thinks for himself. He does not let his demographics define him. He is a black man living in a black community, according to him, but he wants to think for himself, not think how he is "told" to.Did my heart soo good to hear him. Rush gave him a free computer for a present. Go Rush ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

IT's weird when a person who "doesn't like to be told what to do" nevertheless tunes into a talking head who tells him how he should think.IP: Logged |

You missed the whole point AG Timmy thinks for himself, so he listened to Rush when everyone said Rush was a racist. Lo and Behold, he sees how magnificent Rush is. Voila.

I don't think people that think for themselves listen to Rush unless they're liberals wanting to know what craziness is being put forward day after day.IP: Logged |

Many who listen to Rush call themselves "ditto heads" with pride. IOW, they're proud sheep. I've always found it puzzling when a person can proudly admit to being one of the sheeple who follow shepherds like Rush or even Jesus and yet use "sheeple" as an insult to everyone else. IP: Logged |

And I recall an experience of thinking for myself once...a Clintonista trying to get Gore elected in 2000 called me a "right wing extremist" while a Rush Limbaugh "ditto head" called me a "Leftist Looney" for saying about the same exact thing to both of them about individual liberty and why government should be bound by the chains of the constitution/bill of rights. Of course both sides calling me names meant they didn't have to THINK about what I said and thus were able to go along with being sleeping sheeple drinking the kool aid in their preferred flavor. And of course Rush is racist. It's been years since I paid attention but one example that comes to mind is how he repeatedly referred to people--as long as they were white--as being winners (I forget the exact term he used), but whenever someone black succeeds in exactly the same way he says it's due to "white guilt" (that is they could've never succeeded save whites allowed it from a misguided guilt which shows he thinks people who aren't white, or at least blacks, are inherently inferior). Btw, I thought I'd let everyone know...not all Republicans and conservatives like Rush just like not all Democrats and liberals like Michael Moore. They tend to dismiss those into people like Rush, Coulter, and Beck (as well as those into Bill Maher and Moore) as "wing nuts." Unfortunately, as one Republican (a Barry Goldwater type who misses Reagan, so he's not even a "moderate") complained (the one who wished for Hunstman as the Republican nominee), "the wing nuts took over in 2010." Still, there are plenty of Republicans and other conservatives not drinking the kool aid...and they're hoping the Party regains its sensibilities soon. IP: Logged |
