Something else funny on this thread; the guy who floats in his own little bubble world of unreality and whose feet haven't touched planet Earth since he's been on this site is talking about "reality"..as though he'd recognize reality if he ever saw it. Funny stuff! As for me, it's Romney.[/B]
Actually, Jwhop, I am glad you mentioned that because I wanted to. You are so right. No one, even the "base" wants to cop to O'Bomber. Go Romney ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

That's rich from a guy who ALSO hadn't said anything the first 20 days of this thread's existence. If people don't know who I'm going to vote for, then they're either very unobservant, or very stupid. Take your pick. IP: Logged |

I probably would have voted for McCain in 2000 if he had beat Bush in the primaries.IP: Logged |

Ack! So true! I dont like any of the candidates. I ranked them like this: 1. Ron Paul: But I hated his stance on drugs and abortion. But then I also hated how extreme he was about anti gov. To bad he is out, I might have taken a second look. 2. Romney: I hate his stance on Iran/Israel and abortion. 3. Anyone else but Obama. I dont know enough about Gary though. I need to do some major research about him.

I didn't like Ron Paul for the reasons you mentioned and I also liked him for the other reasons you mentioned. I didn't know about Gary Johnson either but I was disappointed enough by the two main parties to take a look and I like MOST of his platform.

that's the trouble with polls, a lot of people take their right to PRIVATE BALLOT seriously. and their answers are either absent or misleading...a i've stated many times, polls shmolls. this one included! IP: Logged |

Funny thing kat, I`ve never been polled. I`d like to know who these so called people are and how unbiased the sampling. I don`t give them any truth either.------------------ We dance around the ring and suppose, but the secret sits in the middle and Knows Robert Frost IP: Logged |

With regard to third party candidates, just a note:Third party candidates have not gone through the same rigors as the two party candidates, and it's quite likely you don't know them well enough to consider them a third or fourth "evil." IP: Logged |

Gary Johnson has had several commentaries and reviews of the debates where he posted all of his opinions and policies in response to the mainstream televised debates that he has not been allowed to participate in.Most people just don't bother to watch because they are stuck on only two choices OR they don't even know that they happen which I'm sure pleases the two main parties. I don't think any third party candidate is some sort of saviour. I just wish people had more choices. It would force EVERYONE to step up.

In 08 I Baracked the vote. Even back then I had thoughts in my head like if there are other parties besides the two main ones, how come no one knows about them and how is that fair? Well I passively accepted it, and thought Obama would do a good job. (I was 18 and did not really understand much back then anyways)This election I was gonna vote for Ron Paul, but he drooped. I began looking into all of the 3rd parties....and I am gonna vote for............!!!!!....Gary Johnson. Yeah I doubt he will win(I mean out of my 200 friends on FB only one FB friend liked him) but at the end of the day, I am standing up for my beliefs...voting for two choices that I dislike waste of a vote to me, and is not a real choice in my book, and doesn't seem very American. Ugh I gotta do my homework on him. I heard he was a very deent candidate. I feel that it is unfair that the party with the most money gets to rule the roost. This system is so messed up. I think that every candidate should be given the same air time...And if that lasts a week for debates so be it. Then no one else is allowed to buy commercials. All they can do is post their ideas on a regulated and fact checked site made by a neutral party. IP: Logged |

has anyone else heard who gw bush voted for? apparently he had trouble with his machine and pushed the obama button instead of romney...on realizing his mistake he pushed a red button (green means go, red means stop, he reasoned) which said "cast ballot"...because of the red symbol he thought that meant "cast" as in "throw away"..and his obama vote registered.after arguing with the poll tenders and being told he was only allowed one vote, he announced that he and laura would be spending the next few years working on simplifying the process! (too bad this story is actually a joke though it was printed as if it were news..) IP: Logged |
