actually it is different at different shops, but my own usually very reasonable station has gone up .30 overnight (night before last) and .50 in three days.apparently a large refinery fire in texas is being blamed. it was going down well until monday...! this is two major refineries in the period of a month, one just across the water from me (chevron). now considering the profits these guys have been making it would be nice if they didn't load the customer with the burden - even before they have tallied the damage these spikes are added to OUR cost. and rush is blaming the left for this this morning as if it is something to do with obama sulking over the debate...which was nowhere near the travesty the pundits are playing it for...milking the crowd. I paid $50 to fill up today. Not fun... I commute 50 miles a day for work. IP: Logged |

No. $4.75 a gallon when I filled up. I think my PT Cruiser tank is only 15 gallons. Luckily my husband drives the Audi because that takes the really expensive gas and it needs 19 gallons.

We need our own energy *sigh* O'Bomber is trying to make it so we WON"T be energy independent. Wake up, sleeping people. One more term with O'Bomber and we are done ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Yeah, I hate all the "Obomer" stuff and I'm not even a Democrat. I don't think it bodes well for someone's argument if they have to resort to playground name calling.I also don't like it when people come up with dumb nicknames for Mitt Romney. It's more constructive, IMO, to stick to the issues and the facts.
