Hey acoustic, I don't know how to break this news to you but when someone pulls numbers out of their butt, they can make numbers show anything.

Your unbroken string of debate failures continues. Hahaha, even when you cheat, you still can't win acoustic. God that must be depressing.

The binder issue is bullshiiit and it's going nowhere with women. O'Bomber is losing women voters to Romney in droves. All that feigned outrage is hysterically funny.

How dare Mitt Romney have lists of qualified women compiled and put in "binders" in an attempt to find qualified women to serve in state government. Sexist Pig for sure.

as to jwhop dissing people because of their ADDRESS..(an outskirt of sacramento, i believe but it makes no difference) i find that out of order.

the binder issue is NOT AN ISSUE, first off, and secondly IT WENT VIRAL BECAUSE WOMEN TOOK IT THERE, so OBVIOUSLY women thought it was RIDICULOUS and showed the man for the shallow that he is. just as jwhop's idea of righteous insult shows him up.

i consider it far more interesting that while both romney and obama KNOW that the romneys made millions from the bailout of detroit, neither of them is saying a word about it...romney's tax returns take on new significance with this story and obama could blast him with it but doesn't. why?

You know acoustic, if you're going to just make crap up you could at least make stuff up that's believable. At least try to apply some common sense and don't show everyone working in the White House in the same relative positions making exactly the same amount of money. In my illustration for you people made the same amount of money for the same work position. I then averaged out their salaries to illustrate that DESPITE receiving the same pay, the average pay came out different. This is the point you can't seem to grasp (even though it is quite simple).

I didn't apologize for using made up numbers, and my argument isn't stupid. Yours is.

You can't seem to figure out that putting up average salaries of genders against one another doesn't equal a disparity of pay between people doing the same job. Same argument different day. It's simple math.

Three Men:
Department head makes $80k/year
Manager makes $60k/year
Underling makes $40k/year

Four Women:
Manager makes (same as above) 60k/year
Underling makes (same as above) $40k/year
Underling makes (same as above) $40k/year
Underling makes (same as above) $40k/year

The men make a total of $180k combined. The women also make a total of $180k combined. However, because the men's total is only divided amongst three men the median salary for the males is $60k/year. Meanwhile, the women's $180k is divided by four women, giving a mean salary of $45k/year.

More women making exactly the same pay as their male counterparts, and yet their "mean annual salary" is less. This remains true if you drop the male department head down to management-level pay, too. Simply by virtue of there being less men.

Now, I'll demonstrate for you, since you can't seem to figure it out, that lowering the one higher-paid male to the manager position still results in the same.

Three Men:
Manager makes $60k/year
Manager makes $60k/year
Underling makes $40k/year
= $160k
$160/3 = $53.33k
