I'm really looking forward to what SNL does. I loved what they did with the '08 election. Hilarious. I don't normally watch SNL, but I do like their election stuff. And JibJab. Best part of election season = the jokes. IP: Logged |

That's not true. He actually wanted everything to be about fair play and equality. The thing people tend to have an issue with is his stance of taking off the training wheels and letting people take more responsibility for their own lives. IP: Logged |

I actually was a Democrat, then a Republican, an Indie, and now very apathetic.I don't like either party. Ron Paul had my vote, though I disliked his stance on drugs and abortion. (I think unwanted pregnancies simply ruin lives, eventually have adverse effects on the economy, and because these kids are neglected or brought up by teens, they have an inferior standard of living and approach to life. People can say they know one person that figured out how to be a superstar teen mom, but as the world progresses to a higher mental state and standard of living. A teen mom will aways be behind. Why would you want to force that upon other people? If you eat meat you certainly can't be against abortion. Abortions in case of rape should not be a question and should be obvious. No one would want to keep that. It has half the genes of a rapist. Uh no thanks. About drugs, people are not as smart as they want to claim. We learned in psych class the 90% of adults still have the IQ of a high schooler....at 40. Pretty sad but there it is. They obviously can't figure things out. And I don't want some nut taking PCP or bath salts chewing on my head. No....just no...) Now I don't even care. I know Obama is a flop. I can't imagine another 4 years with a failure. : / I think he doens't have enough experience and jumped in the water too early. I wish he waited. But I sure think that of all the presidents he's the best father and husband. That I admire about him. Plus he seems like a sweet person in general. He's someone whose family I would want to invite for dinner. hehe. About Romeny, I don't where he stands on a few issues. And his wife doens't give me the best vibes. But his wife has nothing to do with his presidential run. lol. I think he too has been a good father and husband. She was his childhood sweetheart. Talk about committment. Also, he's a successful businessman. I think we need that sort of acumen to get this country running. According to I think vedic astrology, Obama and Carter both had saturn conjunct moon. That was said to have caused them to have "failed" or at least that is what makes other people view them as incompetent. IP: Logged |

Obama has s-turn in his twelfth.. I din't remember it being cojunct his moon.U bring up good points, though... I like obama as a person but as a leader? Even if i like him, congress has to like him more because if not, it doesn't seem like we'll get anywhere. : / IP: Logged |

I just caught the presidential debate on youtube...I enjoyed the entertainment. I'm independent. The only thing i can say is that what obama has done, has been keeping his word to the middle class which he said in his closing statement; what that middle class is to him, would be all relative... Romney, i like how he talks and how he speaks. [UPDATE: Never mind... I found it refreshing at first but i've watched both debates and after hearing the same consecutive scripted things from Romney, i just cannot bear it much longer...] Overall, romney seems competent and has background in business. [UPDATE: Never mind.. After both debates, i'm convinced he's full of it. I've not seen anyone try to play on the emotional card as much as i've seen him and ryan do... I saw biden do it in the vp debate ONCE... I don't recall ever seeing that from him at any other time that wasn't called for-- Romney & Ryan are laying it on TOO thick!!!] What obama did mention was that romney perhaps won't have the backbone to say NO to the more extreme views of the republicans and after seeing he has both Mercury AND Mars in Pisces, i'd say that obama was right; that concerns me. My jupiter falls smack dab on romney's north node and his mercury is on mine. I don't have any nodal links with Obama but his Jupiter is conjunct my MC and as of yet, i'm still unsure as to whether i'll vote on this election. I'll be watching the vice presidential debate in a few. I've had a few very busy days and i'm now catching up on this along with a few other things. IP: Logged |
