Very hard to do. I will always be grateful to Randall that he did not throw me away because I tried his patience, mightily, fighting back at every stupidity thrown my way. I ignore 95% of the time. I am not perfect and I will make mistakes, but it is one of the single greatest lessons I have ever learned and it translates into all areas of your life and sets you free.

perhaps, faith, when you stop being defensive about it, you might be able to read what i said without feeling attacked. apart from pointing out that you have made a lot of assumptions, i wasn't talking about you in particular.

as to bush, i wasn't talking about him either, but about the way people talked about him..the same way the "other" side now talks about obama, in hyperbolic paranoid terms.

whether they deserve criticism or not the dynamic is hysteria.

i don't trust ANY media. that is why i check them all out. there are kernels of truth in all of them, and full truth in few if any.

credentials? i have been an activist, as in ACTIVE CITIZEN, for decades. that is more than you have said about yourself, and i am not going to publish a list here. maybe, given your paranoia that someone might think i was talking about you having guns, you will understand that.

I disagree. Generally speaking, in my opinion, here is not enough of a reaction to the atrocities committed under these administrations.

And to me, "hysteria" means that the argumentation is unhinged and overly driven by emotion. Contrary to that, much of the war protest literature and lectures I've seen are very cogently expressed. You only conflate criticism with hysteria out of convenience.

they have become more subtle since then. so many people opened their eyes THEN that they realized just bumping people off was not going to work. NOW they CO OPT presidents, unless the potus is already co-opted, like bush...and others. why would they risk having to come out in the open again when they can work on more fronts, behind the scenes, and make people LOOK like they are the dirty ones?

the book from which alex jones took his template, "none dare call it conspiracy" by gary allen, lays it out basically, though allen, a john bircher, laid it all at the door of the Socialists, like jwhop. it's not that simple

i take it from your own remarks that you are leo rising? with that and your fixed mercury - and pluto just finishing its transit to your sun?? - i can see why you are so resistant to letting in information that might challenge your black-and-white view...

but there is a good deal more to it than the alex joneses (the professional info-pushers whose finances depend on coming up with the most rivetting information they can spout) are willing to admit either.

you're a smart girl. you don't need me to teach you, but you might want to consider the very slight possibility that some of us have been studying this longer than you and doing things about it too..and might even slightly be able to BROADEN your view.

unlike our resident zionist, i do not feel pity for the poor people OUR govt is killing but stand behind israel doing the same to palestinians. they are all wrong. on the other hand, 10s of thousands were impacted by our on-the-ground troops, which obama has been winding down for years now...that is a good thing.

but what makes you think they need a law to give them permission? have you noticed what is going on in LA this week? it's a lot more than the president and the feds who practice this sort of thing.

anyway, since the days when i saw in black and white, like you, i have realized that many of the APPARENT perps are victims too. and that GETTING PEOPLE FIGHTING AMONGST THEMSELVES is a HUGE part of the process.

I don't understand this black/white stuff. I really have NO idea what you are getting at. Where is my polarity? Is my hard-nosed refusal to accept police state measures without protesting vehemently a "black and white" thing? If so, why do you speak of having standards as if that's counterproductive?

Like Hedges, Ellsberg sees how his life could be endangered by the NDAA's provisions. He argues that if Wikileaks is deemed a terrorist organization, then his public defense of Bradley Manning & Julian Assange could be enough to "warrant" his execution or indefinite detention.
