"Says the guy that just got corrected (via common sense) for the same error he's repeatedly stated"...acousticWell, at least you didn't make the bat-shite crazy argument that YOU corrected me. It's bad enough you used the words "common sense" which is totally lacking in leftist's psychological makeup. Leftists don't have a shred of "common sense" or they wouldn't be leftists in the first place. Lenin rubbed leftist noses in their own vomit more than a hundred years ago when he called you "Useful idiots of Socialism". Anyone with even a nano-particle of "common sense" would have looked around the world across the 20th century and into the 21st and discovered leftist political, social, economic and governmental systems simply don't work, haven't worked and won't work. And yet, leftists press on, always thinking the next leftist icon will get it right and usher in their little utopian world...like the Marxist Messiah O'Bomber. "WE ARE THE ONES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR"....Barack Hussein O'Bomber. Just like his insular leftist followers, the Marxist Messiah is devoid of any "common sense". IP: Logged |

"There are four types of men in this world: 1. The man who knows, and knows that he knows; he is wise, so consult him. 2. The man who knows, but doesn't know that he knows; help him not forget what he knows. 3. The man who knows not, and knows that he knows not; teach him. 4. Finally, there is the man who knows not but pretends that he knows; he is a fool, so avoid him." Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others. John F. Kennedy

Are you implying that kind of thinking caused Groucho's death? Things worked out just fine for him, I have never seen an emptier criticism that I can recallThere happen to be quite a lot of people "on the planet" who disagree with you, jwhop - and Echo - that is why you have to shout so loud and repeat yourself so often to make sure you are "on top" of it. No sane rational person...anywhere in the world could swallow that BS. "WE ARE THE ONES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR"...to destroy the economy, jobs, the health care system, the military and the social fabric of the United States to usher in our little Socialist utopia. How's that working out for you Groucho...like asking O'Bomber sycophant Kool-Aid drinkers how O'Bomber's Hopey Changy Thingie is working out for them. And it's a fair question for O'Bomber supporters since he's put more of them on food stamps than at any time in US history...and he's put more of them below the poverty level since any time back to the 1970s and....he's put more of them in the unemployment line too. Just wondering if that was the "hope and change" O'Bomber Kool-Aid drinkers were thinking of when O'Bomber said... "WE ARE THE ONES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR" IP: Logged |

Still completely inane to suggest a quote from a dead man is bogus because he died, age 87, which has no bearing on the validity of his opinion. That chsnge of attitude didn't hurt him in the least. As I said, what you read into "we are the change" reflects your own egotism not Obama's. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, as they say...and when you attribute the word "we" to an individual'a ego, well maybe that is because you insist everyone must do it YOUR way. To me it indicates a suggestion that everyone altogether make this country what it is, not one man, party, group or idea. Just as Groucho pointed out, the need to always "top" the conversation eliminates communication, the ostensible reason forlanguage on the first place IP: Logged |

The groucho quote was not about Obama. It was about the difference between being the best last-worder in town and actually talking with others. I'd say it showed he learned something about life as he got older. And the personal responsibility WE are encouraged to take is not about Obama either. Sitting back and blaming the President for everything you don't like is not taking responsibility. Convenient for some, though. Ignoring what people say and responding with slogans and campaigning is not talking, it's stonewalling. IP: Logged |

What is it with you, Jwhop? You think everyone else should repeat themselves ad nauseam like you? Same post three times? Yes, I answered already. You misinterpret the word "we" whether deliberately or just due to the inability to absorb what I said?I will be kind and assume you.are just stubborn and not unable to retain what you read a few minutes ago. WE does not equal I. IP: Logged |
