I've read of worse, from tagging kids with RFID without telling the parents to another school that gave out free laptops only to remotely spy on kids at home through the webcam in it (and in the last case they only got caught because they were idiotic enough to report things like "bad eating habits" to parents which got the FBI involved investigating school officials for possible child porn and peeping, knowing full well what many adolescent boys would use their free laptops for, but I wonder how many other schools have done the same but with sense enough to not let anyone know?). There is worse but it is like the slippery slope. Once people get inured to it, it is gonna be bad but that is what is coming, according to the Bible--the chip.

Then you have the new Xbox One which will accomplish all that and more...in many cases with the parents' full knowledge and consent (and naivete.) quote: The Xbox One will feature, by default, an always-on, works-in-the-dark, microphone and camera that’s constantly connected to the internet and 300,000 servers. What could possibly go wrong?
http://www.extremetech.com/gamin g/156515-kinect-for-xbox-one-an-always-on-works-in-the-dark-camera-and-microphone-what-could-possibly-go-wrong quote: Gameranx brings up accusations of Microsoft making Skype easier for law enforcement to use for snooping as a potential cautionary tale for the Xbox One. Microsoft reported how often it shares data from services like Skype, Xbox and even Office, with law enforcement for the first time in the company’s history just earlier this year.
