The best thing for the peeved soldiers is an early troop withdrawal promised by the Victorious Commander-in-Chief of US of A. Surely they deserve a break from the inhospitable terrains of Afghanistan. IP: Logged |

Its bad the troops cant get normal conditions with all the hard work they do but the army is also to blame since they are the ones that deal with internal militairy budget. Ami, This is not a story about Obama. I'm not defending Obama here. I'm relating to reality as I know it, as a former service member. Our mid-rats weren't great either, and let me tell you sailing in the Middle East, and not having access to cold water or air conditioning isn't pleasant at all. You don't join the military expecting the easy life. If you did, you'd be a fool. Furthermore, if you went to any of the uncomfortable places we send military members, and asked the low level people if they have any complaints whatsoever, you'll find that they have PLENTY.
