A growing number of House Democrats are warning the White House they may support a bill that would allow Americans to keep their existing health coverage through 2014 without penalties, the New York Times reports. President Barack Obama’s administration opposes the legislation, saying it would undermine the Affordable Care Act.Meanwhile, economist Dean Baker’s blog has a piece rebutting a Washington Post columnist’s claim that “Obamacare is in much more trouble than it was a week ago.”
