LANHAM, MD - JANUARY 29: U.S. President Barack Obama is framed by his teleprompter while delivering remarks at the Costco wholesale store, repeating some of the same policy proposals from his State of the Union speech the night before January 29, 2014 in Lanham, Maryland. Obama is beginning a two-day, four-state tour to promote a raise in the minimum wage, immigration reform and other other policy ideas. (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration is giving another delay to business groups concerned about the health care law's requirement that larger firms cover their workers. The Treasury Department announced Monday that companies with 50 to 99 employees have an additional year to comply with the coverage mandate, until January 1, 2016. For businesses with 100 or more employees the requirement will still take effect in 2015. But other newly announced provisions may help some of those firms. The employer requirement was originally supposed to take effect this year for companies with 50 or more workers. The administration delayed it last year, the first sign of potential problems with the rollout of President Barack Obama's health care law. Under the law, companies with fewer than 50 employees don't have to offer coverage. http://www.aol.com/article/ 2014/02/10/health-laws-employer-requirement-will-phase-in/20827233/?icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D441318 IP: Logged |

It's kind of false indignation, isn't it? You presumably don't take issue with this lenience, except where it can be used to make the case that Obama isn't executing the law as written.IP: Logged |

Changing the law without Congress makes Obama a king. IP: Logged |

No it doesn't. It makes him an Executive trying to faithfully execute the law in a pragmatic way. At least that's what they'll say to a court hearing a challenge about this.IP: Logged |

Actually, it's someone in fear of his party losing seats, so he is pushing back a year. IP: Logged |

There's nothing pragmatic about that. IP: Logged |

Once again you see "motive" coloured by your own perception and no verifiable evidence. Even if that is his motivation, it is still pragmatic snd still an Executove decision how to execute the program in the most effective way.IP: Logged |

Hahaha, Randall is right.O'Bomber is pushing parts of O'BomberCare off into the future...beyond the 2014 and 2016 elections. For political reasons! His Socialist Progressive pals in Congress are in danger of losing their cushy seats in those elections. Randall is also right to assert O'Bomber thinks he has the power of a king. His oath of office REQUIRES O'BOMBER TO FAITHFULLY EXECUTE THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES. There's not one word of constitutional authority for O'Bomber to unilaterally change provisions of any law passed by Congress. None whatsoever! IP: Logged |

O'Bomber would never have been elected President if he had not lied straight through his teeth to America...nor reelected. Now, O'Bomber is acting like a third world banana republic dictator. And, all the usual suspects and drooling Kool-Aid drinkers just love their little Marxist Messiah dictator wannabe. IP: Logged |
