I hadn't thought of it that way. They create more "jobs" for people who are already employed. Now I get it.

Seems he's keeping his involvement on the quiet... http://m.us.wsj.com/articles/SB10001424052702304899704579391181466603804?mg=reno64-wsj puts a slightly different take on it. IP: Logged |

Node...I had a friend who worked in radio advertising for 25 years and did extremely well at it . In 2008 his company fired his partner and have him all the extra work...and not a penny raise. He walked and decided he would make a great realtor...trained and set out to earn NOTHING for 2.5 years...it took another year to find a company in his old business who would take someone so hot-headed. He is a solid Republican by the way, or was last i heard, haven't seen him since he started working again IP: Logged |

It happens with greater frequency now. Sorry to hear your radio advertising friend found it a long and fruitless road for so long. Not a great period to go into real estate either, unless you had someone in your corner. If circumstances had chosen now for him... could have been a different outcome. . . . Random: American kettles-> IP: Logged |
