Good bye Mr Boehner and hello Mr Ryan... I don`t think Ryan will be needing the left behind tissue box ! Now, can Ryan unite and get a actual working budget . The political future is looking interesting! ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

The debate didn't tell us anything new. As always, there are a few conservatives and a lot of moderates. The moderates would not support the conservatives, and vice versa. As has been true, the moderates tend to win because they are best funded. The same with the other party where there is a dichotomy between liberal and moderate, and the moderates tend to win, except for the last two elections.I'm indifferent and apathetic, and I support none of the candidates, having fundamental issues with all of them. I rather not vote than vote for any. IP: Logged |

I support Bernie Sanders, but I have no illusions he will actually win. The oligarchy has already decided that Hillary Clinton will be the president. But Sanders is a clear message from the 99% and hopefully the start of something greater - a "revolution" of sorts that will correct the system we have now by ousting the masters who run it. (No, they're not "glitches" in the system. They're "features.") IP: Logged |

And how do you think you can effect change on the 1% by throwing temper tantrums?I think the tyranny of the status quo would ensue, and even if you physically removed every single person in the 1%, then a nouveau 1% class would be formed, and you would always have issue with them. IP: Logged |

As much as I dislike the notion, I agree with it. There will always be one group with the perceived or absolute power to keep the rest in check. I`m not a Sanders fan for many reasons but mainly he`s a self proclaimed socialist. Now where is AG to set that statement on it`s ear? ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Now here is your GOP frontrunner, proposing for Muslims exactly what Hitler mandated for Jews in Germany in the 30s. He has not quite said they should wear badges but he has not "ruled it out". http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/trump-says-he-would-certainly-implement-muslim-database-n466716?nc=4444 I agree there will always be a 1%... but to give them moreand more breaks while punishing the poor...not ok. Its not ok to let them buy themselves into the White House. This is what Bernie Sanders is saying if you can get past the indoctrinated fear of one word. IP: Logged |

I don't know the context. It almost seems like the reporter ambushed him. But even if that was the case, he just has to know better. Part of the job requirements is "protect and defend the Constitution" including the first amendment. Major mistake on his part. And if he really meant it, so much the worse.

Yes Context is important and yes the anti Trump press ran with it, a bit too far. But he is running with it himself. In Birmingham, Alabama, today, Donald Trump called for surveillance of Islamic mosques that, in his view, could pose terrorist threats. "I want surveillance of certain mosques,” Trump told a raucous and applauding crowd, adding “I will absolutely take a database on the people coming in from Syria.” He then rejected calls to resettle Syrian refuges on U.S. soil. "If we can't stop it -- but we are going to if I win -- they're going back." When a black protester shouted “black lives matter,” Trump yelled “get the hell out of here.” At least a half-dozen white Trump supporters then shoved and punched the protester, and a woman kicked him while he was on the ground.
Some commentators mistakenly view Trump’s campaign as built on entertainment, like a reality TV show. The truth is his campaign is built on fear and hate. The leading Republican candidate for the presidency of the United States is bringing out the worst in America at a time when we need the best. Like other demagogues throughout history who have used bigotry to gain power, Trump has no shame and no decency. Yep, a matter of opinion. Hey juni Sanders brand of Democratic Socialism includes private business and *gasp* capitalism. With social programs and a big thumbs down to welfare for the richest paid for at the expense of everyone else. IP: Logged |

I'm quite sure that didn't happen. Where's a link? After two terms of Obama destroying our military, Trump would be refreshing. He's going to rebuild and make us a strong nation again. IP: Logged |

Hes going to rebuild nothing. He is tweeting false statistics about black and white murder facts that he could've checked in two minutes. His comment on the punching was "he probly deserved it". But again, Repugnant is an opinion. Dems are already benefiting from that opinion 😉 IP: Logged |
