It's just the opposite. Trump is attracting huge numbers. This debate was about how the GOP candidates will handle ISIS. All Clinton has said she will do against ISIS is what Obama has been doing.

I hope you are not deluding yourself. They are gawkers not voters.

We will find out soon if they are voters or not. Trump is way ahead in the polls.

He's at 42 percent. Ahead of any of the other GOP candidates.

What is 42% of 23% (Republicans) of the voting public?

I'm disheartened, disappointed and disenfranchised by the forerunners of both political parties.

If you think only 23 percent of the voting public are Republicans, then you will have a rude awakening when Clinton loses.

Its common knowledge Randall that the Repubs number about 23% of the eligible voters. Dems come in at around 25% and the rest maintain Independent status. The last midterms were won with about 15% of eligible votes. .with the vast majority staying home and silent. It makes claims of "mandates from the people" particularly
gross self-serving fiction

This poll is a scream. .. to be fair it was very small and the title is misleading since Dems don't seem a lot more conscious but it does show the commitment of voters to being informed.(and the silliness of their preferences)

Identifying as independent is one thing, and voting is quite another.

I identify as an Independant and haven`t missed a vote.
I don`t think for a minute, I am in a rare voting class.

That's what I'm saying. If independents vote, they will probably choose one of the two main parties.

In other words, people who say they are independent generally vote Democrat or Republican, essentially identifying with one or the other.

More like trying to figure out which is the lesser evil rather than which one they relate to. Even if they make a habit of voting for one particular party, they do so holding their noses and taking several showers after.

Lol PJ

Here's an interesting tidbit on Trump. Guess whom he voted for...even while making a ruckus about birth certificates.
http://malaach.wordpress.com/2015/09/19/breaking-trump-deleted-tweet-revealing-he-voted-for-his-friend-barack-obama/

So what makes anyone think he means anything he says, ever? Are you being played?

Graham dropped out. I expect others will soon as well.

It`s been an event watching Trump make an azz of himself and his supporters.

Unfortunately or fortunately (perspective) , it is swinging the door wide open for another Dem to sit POTUS.
