In 1971, Branson was questioned in connection with the selling of records in Virgin stores that had been declared export stock. The matter was never brought before a court and Branson agreed to repay any unpaid tax and a fine.Apparently he did borrow from his mother (she got a refinance loan so was never out of pocket for it)to pay the fine. However he repaid her and it was not even a "few millions". Nor did he bankrupt his company leaving people out of work while saving his own personal arsets. Personally I don't want a high flying brinksman crashing and burning my country while saving his own skin. An arrest and plea bargain is not a felony conviction. So unless you have something to show you ought to stop spreading libel.

Not sure where you got that idea, out of your own head as usual I'm guessing. I've never said anything about wanting either, in fact quite the opposite...but that's never stopped you spouting off so why stop now? You like to think you have a pipeline to people's unconscious thoughts, do you?where is the link to Branson's felonious record, jwhop? Just adore your yellow press dontcha  Branson's no angel but a settlement without conviction ie slap on the wrist, hardly qualifies for felony.

You clearly don't know a damned thing about the law...or the criminal justice system..either ours of the British.When someone is caught breaking the law...and pleads guilty, signs an agreement to pay a fine...AND pay back whatever they stole...that's a CONVICTION in fact. You may not like the source and I don't give a rat's ass whether you do or don't, but...if Richard Branson did not have a criminal conviction for tax evasion and the Daily Mail printed a story asserting he does, that would be LIBEL. Branson entered a guilty plea arrangement whereby he would repay what he stole from the British government, plus a fine. Further, if he didn't pay in full, he would be prosecuted in court and serve a prison sentence if found guilty....WHICH HE WAS! And, we haven't even talked about Branson's doper mentality. There may be lots of self made millionaires and billionaires you could have mentioned to offset Trump, but Branson isn't close to being in Trump's league. IP: Logged |

Univision is a Spanish Language network. I wonder why they would be offended by Trump calling Mexicans rapists, murderers and drug dealers? I wonder why Trump, with his love of Mexicans, would not notice he just insulted them?More to the point how does someone who thinks the President can just wave his hand and the border will be closed, qualify to run at all?
