When Donald Trump said something not exuberantly enthusiastic about Mexican immigrants, the media's response was to boycott him. One thing they didn't do was produce any facts showing he was wrong.

Trump said: "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

The first thing a news fact-checker would have noticed is: THE GOVERNMENT WON'T TELL US HOW MANY IMMIGRANTS ARE COMMITTING CRIMES IN AMERICA.

Wouldn't that make any person of average intelligence suspicious? Not our media. They're in on the cover-up.

A curious media might also wonder why any immigrants are committing crimes in America. A nation's immigration policy, like any other government policy, ought to be used to help the people already here -- including the immigrants, incidentally.

It's bad enough that immigrants, both legal and illegal, are accessing government benefits at far above the native rate, but why would any country be taking another country's criminals? We have our own criminals! No one asked for more.

Instead of counting the immigrant stock filling up our prisons, the government issues a series of comical reports claiming to tally immigrant crime. The Department of Justice relies on immigrants' self-reports of their citizenship. The U.S. census simply guesses the immigration status of inmates. The Government Accounting Office conducts its own analysis of Bureau of Prisons data.

In other words, the government hasn't the first idea how many prisoners are legal immigrants, illegal immigrants or anchor babies.

But there are clues! Only about a quarter of California inmates are white, according to a major investigative piece in The Atlantic last year -- and that includes criminals convicted in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, when the vast majority of California's population was either black or white.

Do immigration enthusiasts imagine that more than 75 percent of the recent convicts are African-American? Blacks have high crime rates, but they make up only about 6 percent of California's entire population.

A casual perusal of the "Most Wanted" lists also suggests that the government may not have our best interests in mind when deciding who gets to live in America.

Here is the Los Angeles Police Department's list of "Most Wanted" criminal suspects:

-- Jose A. Padilla (murder),

There aren't a lot of Mexicans in New York state -- half of all Mexican immigrants in the U.S. live in either Texas or California -- and yet there are more Mexican prisoners in New York than there are inmates from all of Western Europe.

As for the crime of rape specifically, different groups have different criminal proclivities, and no one takes a backseat to Hispanics in terms of sex crimes.

The rate of rape in Mexico is even higher than in India, according to Professor Carlos Javier Echarri Canovas of El Colegio de Mexico. A report from the Inter-American Children's Institute explains that in Latin America, women and children are "seen as objects instead of human beings with rights and freedoms."

All peasant cultures have non-progressive views on women, but Latin America happens to have the peasant culture that's closest to the United States.

The only reason our newspapers aren't chockablock with reports of Latino sexual predators is that they are too busy broadcasting hoax news stories about non-existent gang-rapes by white men: the Duke lacrosse team (Crystal Gail Mangum), University of Virginia fraternity members (Jackie Coakley) and military contractors in Iraq (Jamie Leigh Jones).

In fact, the main way we find out about Hispanic rapists is when the media report on dead or missing girls -- hoping against hope that the case will never be solved or the perp will turn out to look like the rapists on "Law and Order." When it turns out to be another Latino rapist, that fact is aggressively suppressed by the media.

New Yorkers were horrified by the case of "Baby Hope," a 4-year-old girl whose raped and murdered body turned up in an Igloo cooler off of the Henry Hudson Parkway in 1991. After a 20-year investigation, the police finally captured her rapist/murderer in 2003. It was Conrado Juarez, an illegal alien from Mexico, who disposed of the girl's body with the help of his illegal alien sister.

New York City is the nation's media capital. But only The New York Post reported that the child rapist was a Mexican.

In 2001, the media were fixated on the case of Chandra Levy, a congressional intern who had gone missing. All eyes were on her boss and romantic partner, Democratic congressman Gary Condit. Then it turned out she was assaulted and murdered while jogging in Rock Creek Park by Ingmar Guandique -- an illegal alien from El Salvador.

There was a lot of press when three Cleveland women went missing a decade ago. By the time they escaped in 2013 from the sick sexual pervert who'd been holding them captive, it was too late for the media to ignore the story. The girls hadn't been kidnapped by the Duke lacrosse team, but by Ariel Castro.

Now, get this: While investigating Castro, the police discovered that he wasn't the only Hispanic raping young girls on his block. (All in all, it wasn't a great street for trick-or-treating.)

Castro's erstwhile neighbor, Elias Acevedo, had spent years raping, among many others, his own daughters when they were little girls. The New York Times' entire coverage of that case consisted of a tiny item on page A-18: "Ohio: Life Sentence in Murders and Rapes."

The media knew from the beginning that the monstrous gang-rape and murder of Jennifer Ertman, 14, and Elizabeth Pena, 16, in Houston in 1993 was instigated by Jose Ernesto Medellin, an illegal immigrant from Mexico. But over the next decade, with more than a thousand news stories on that case, the fact that the lead rapist was a Mexican was not mentioned once, according to the Nexis archives.

Only when Medellin's Mexicanness was used to try to overturn his death sentence did American news consumers finally find out he was an illegal alien from Mexico. (After years of wasted judicial resources and taxpayer money being spent on Medellin's appeals, he will now be spending eternity way, way south of the border.)

Who is this media cover-up helping? Not the American girls getting raped. But also not the Latina immigrants who came to the U.S., thinking they were escaping the Latin American rape culture. So as not to hurt the feelings of immigrant rapists, the media are willing to put all girls living here at risk.

Declaring itself a sanctuary with no obligation to obey federal immigration law, the city of San Francisco ignored an order by federal immigration officials to detain for deportation a man now accused of gunning down a young woman at popular city tourist destination.

Francisco Sanchez has seven felony convictions and has been deported five times, most recently in 2009, a federal agency said Friday. He was arrested about an hour after Wednesday's seemingly random slaying of Kathryn Steinle at Pier 14 — one of the busiest attractions in the city.

Donald Trump said Friday he would prevent violent conduct from illegal immigrants if elected president next year.

Trump said in a statement he deplores acts like Wednesday’s fatal shooting of Kathryn Steinle in San Francisco.

“This senseless and utterly deplorable act of violence committed by an illegal immigrant is yet another example of why we must secure our border immediately,” he said.

“This is an absolutely disgraceful situation and I am the only one that can fix it,” Trump said. “Nobody else has the guts to even talk about it.”

“That won’t happen if I become President,” he said of the shooting.

“The American people deserve a wall to protect our jobs, economy and our safety. I am the only candidate who would build it.”

Steinle, 32, died after being shot Wednesday night while strolling San Francisco’s Embarcadero with her father, according to NBC’s local affiliate.

Francisco Sanchez, the alleged shooter, was released from jail four months ago instead of being transferred into federal immigration officials’ custody, it added.

NBC Bay Area said Sanchez was freed April 15 after facing charges for attempted marijuana sales.

He is an undocumented immigrant that has previously been deported to Mexico five times.

Federal records show Sanchez has seven prior felony convictions, four of which are for drug charges.

He has reported convictions in Arizona, Oregon and Texas.

NBC Bay Area said Friday that San Francisco is a “sanctuary city” in terms of its immigration policies.

That means that it does not investigate an immigrant’s status for the federal government.

President Obama is an “amateur,” a “Marxist” and the “worst” president ever, charged a federal official responsible for protecting public health.

That’s according to internal email messages obtained by Judicial Watch, the Washington watchdog on government.

Judicial Watch said the emails were obtained as part of a review of the activation of a Centers for Disease Control Emergency Operations Center that was intended to “deal with the barrage of illegal alien minors” that arrived in the U.S. in 2014.

Some of the thousands of illegal alien youths have carried dangerous contagious diseases that had been considered eradicated in the U.S., such as swine flu, dengue fever, possibly the Ebola virus and tuberculosis.

The records included emails between agency officials working at the center, Judicial Watch said.

In an email dated June 9, 2014, CDC Logistics Management Specialist George Roark wrote to CDC Public Health Adviser William Adams that “no country in the world would allow” the influx of illegal aliens, Judicial Watch said.

Adams replied that “in ten years or less, they’ll all be voting,” which is “Commander’s intent.”

Roark then wrote Obama is “the worst pres we have ever had … he truly is ‘the amateur’ but a Marxist too.”

JW reported in a June 18, 2014, email that CDC Intelligence Analyst Daniel Bubacz described the situation as a “Leave No Child on the other Side of the Border Policy.”

The report said the center is part of a special CDC division founded after the 9/11 attacks, and it already has responded to dozens of public health threats, including hurricanes.

“It’s a major and costly operation that can stick American taxpayers with a huge tab,” the report said. “That’s why JW launched a probe when the Obama administration took in the illegal immigrants, initially coined Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC), with open arms last summer.”

Catching bits of the news, my wife asked, “Did Donald Trump say something against Mexicans?” I replied, “No, Trump simply dared to state statistical facts exposing the high criminal element among the illegals flooding across our border.”

I've read horrific articles about the torture, rape and murder of Mexican women and children during their illegal journey to America, not to mention the gang members and other bad people invading our homeland. The probability of getting raped is so high crossing the border illegally that women take birth control.

And yet Trump was not supposed to alert the American people. The left immediately went into attack and destroy mode, trying to brand Trump a hater of Mexicans.

The left had a cow when Trump stated the truth because welcoming illegals, regardless of their caliber, is how the left restocks the Democratic Party with new uneducated and unskilled future voters who will be dependent on government and vote for Democrats, who promise more freebies.

To silence and hopefully destroy Trump, the left employed its standard never failing tactic of changing the subject and taking its opponent's comments to the extreme. Case in point: addressing illegal immigration means that Trump hates Mexicans.

Hillary “not an ounce of scruples in her” Clinton took Trump's comments to the most outrageous extreme, attempting to blame him for the mass shooting at the church in Charleston, South Carolina. How do you get to mass murder from Trump simply telling the truth about illegal immigration? Hillary believes that voters are clueless, and her leftist media buddies will help her despicable, nonsensical indictment to stick to Trump in their minds.

As expected, businesses are spinelessly disassociating themselves from Trump. Trump was then supposed to cower in fear and shame, drop to his knees begging for forgiveness, make a large contribution to Telemundo, throw in a check for Al Sharpton for good measure, and shut up. But the left got Trumped.

Trump firmly stood by his comments, because they are true. How long will the American people be bullied into silence, in essence allowing the left to repeal their First Amendment right to free speech?

Leftist operative Don Lemon at CNN could hardly believe his ears. Stunned, Lemon said Trump actually “doubled down” on his comments. The left rarely encounters such non-metrosexual insolence.

Here's another example of the left's tactic of changing the subject and taking things to the extreme. The left changed the subject from a wacko white guy murdering blacks in a church to banning the Confederate flag. The left has decreed that anyone who does not rip down the historic Confederate flag obviously hates black Americans. As always, the left's “take the argument to the extreme” tactic is working. Quaking in their boots, business executives are frantically ordering the immediate removal of Confederate flags – hoping their compliance beats the left targeting them.

NASCAR asked fans to cease displaying Confederate flags at races. I'm a black guy who would love to see a sea of Confederate flags at the next NASCAR race. I have no feelings about the Confederate flag other than that I would relish our country giving the left's tyrannical political correctness the metaphoric finger. In other words, “Trump it.”

Apparently, voters are finding it refreshing to have a Trump card in the game, smacking down political correctness. Quinnipiac has Donald Trump a strong second among GOP presidential contenders in Iowa.

“The Donald” is showing Americans how to respond to the left's bullying tactic, Trumping political correctness.

Political correctness has decreed that reading bedtime stories to your kids is racist, citing having a loving family an “unfair advantage.” Trump it. Read more stories to your kids. Double down, and thoroughly P-O the left by including reading the Rush Revere children's books to your kids.

Political correctness has decreed that peanut butter and jelly is racist. Why? Wait for it...“it leads to cultural sensitivity.” These people on the left are nuts. I say, Trump it, folks. Let's start National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Just kidding, but you get my point.

A while ago, I excitedly fired off a column for publication, praising a presidential contender who boldly stated a politically incorrect truth. I raved about the candidate's courage and backbone, standing up to the left. The editor wrote back informing me that my guy caved and apologized. Oh...okay...never mind. We scratched the column.

The politicians and media in D.C. and NYC live in a bubble that makes them unable to relate to the rest of America.

Donald Trump has been repeatedly attacked by the left and the Beltway Republicans. George Will and Jeb Bush are the latest in a long line of Beltway types who deem Trump unelectable for speaking the unspeakable – that which is on the mind and heart of Middle America.

Middle America has been told to sit down and shut up every time it has tried to object to the Beltway boys’ next compromise. The Beltway boys seem to continue on the path of compromising all that is sacred to those they claim to represent, and they seem to be in denial that more than 30 percent of their own party has said they won’t vote based on party in the next election.

So, how does one attract those independents who feel alienated by the Beltway electeds, and believe them to be more committed to the wallets of Wall Street than to those who elected them?

I have never been a fan of Donald Trump. I have met him in person, and I still wasn’t impressed. I find him a bit hard to take. I would have been the first to laugh had you told me a year ago that he could be the presidential nominee.

More attacks at Trump came over the weekend. George Will said Trump is “hideously inflammatory” and called him “Todd Akin with 10 different facets.” I would turn that around, and say he has endured 10 Akin-style attacks, and come out shining.

Trump was always saying (however clumsily) what Middle America wanted to say, but he was too rich, too abrasive, too unrelatable for the average American. Even though they related to his words, the disconnect psychologically for most Americans was that he was still too unrelatable to be trusted.

Then along came the attacks.

The Beltway and corporate America are public enemy No. 1 to most Americans. This crosses party lines, class, race and faith. Ironically, the Beltway boys and corporate America’s attacks on Trump may have handed him what he needed most: the sympathy factor.

While the Beltway candidates for president drone on about E-Verify and other failed programs, the critical minds know that the bleeding hearts will continue promote the unfettered flood of illegal influx into the U.S. whether or not they are coming to work. Real Americans know there will be more deals, more “compromise,” and they aren’t settling for these plans for a moment.

Real Americans can reason that Trump did not mean all Mexicans who cross the border are rapists and criminals. Real Americans are tired of being told what they think!

Real Americans, the kind who haven’t believed in a president since Reagan, are looking at the deafening silence of the Beltway and corporate America just last weekend in the death of Kathryn Steinle. Trump’s words were proven true in the minds of those who heard the tragedy that took place this week.

Kathryn Steinle was killed by an illegal, Francisco Sanchez, a convict with seven felonies who had been deported to Mexico five times! Most media ignored the story. Only Fox News made the connection between Trump’s statements, and this tragedy. But America did. The senseless death was 100 percent preventable because Sanchez was arrested in March for drug charges.

Naturally, the leftists who seek to destroy Trump, love drugs and control the “sanctuary city” of San Francisco, the scene of the crime, refused to prosecute him for the drug crime or even hold him for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, so he might be deported. A further highlight to the insanity of leftists, two separate TV news crews reporting on the arrest were mugged, and one cameraman was pistol whipped. This reality is the alternative to Trump speaking the truth.

It isn’t only the “close our borders” folks who are developing a taste for Trump. Feminists have an odd alliance with Trump. They claim 80 percent of women who come across the border are raped along the way.

Small-business people who are tired of political pandering while they fall victim once again to corporate cronyism are taking a closer look at Trump.

Trump doesn’t need Wall Street. He doesn’t need Karl Rove and his Beltway boys. He doesn’t even need NBC. The fact of the matter is, he could buy all of them. This makes him oddly, utterly independent of influence everyone in Main Street America detests. It adds to an almost mythological persona. He can fight where the lesser man would crumble.

Only Ted Cruz has come out in defense of Donald Trump and Main Street, and it is no surprise that the top two in most polls of actual likely Republican voters are Cruz and Trump. The others who sheepishly avoid comment, or cave to the Beltway mentality by jumping on the “bash Trump” bandwagon, will not win the hearts of the Main Street voter out there.

Oddly, conservatives may have Macy’s, NBC, Univision, Serta and the Beltway boys to thank for galvanizing support for the multibillionaire who was only lacking the sympathy factor. They gave him that, and time will tell if that is the ultimate Trump card, unwittingly given to those who are usually shut down.

There are undesirable characters in every population. Most immigrants aren't coming here (or being "sent") to pillage but to get away from those who do. Many of those rapes are committed by Mexican OFFICIALS not fellow crossers. Trump's ruthless monarch act might work in his companies (full of immigrant workers apparently) but exhibit no presidential qualities whatsoever.

And he is not too rich to be "bought" by a long shot.

The crash and burn MO that has cost him how many companies? Is not viable in the Oval Office. He can't fire elected reps or judges and he has no money to build that wall he's already achieved in his mind without the legislature.
