Randall, most people who are brought up wealthy and trained in the family business have connections and schooling in how to conduct business. Therefore if they are also bequeathed a business that is up and running and worth several hundred million they have a better chance than most of keeping it going and even adding to it. A big pot offers opportunities to grow more and even cover some gambles that might not work out.

This is why the robber barons families are still big cheeses. The inheritance is not just a number in the bank. There are people whose families, having made use of the family stake, the connections they make in school and socially..Ivanka was actually a huge help to Donald by the way...or thru marriage to more money/assets/position, have kept it going for hundreds of years.

Look at the histories of Rockefellers, Morgans, Johnsons, Fords, Hays, Paleys, etc..or the English barons like the Howards, Churchills, Cavendishes, Guinesses and Brownes...sure its possible to run thru it but it doesnt take much really to keep going what is well-established.

So, Trump with a $10+ Billion net worth is truly an American Rags to Riches story.

Haven't you heard? ISIS is in soooo much trouble. Trump's going to take their oil and cut off their money.

AND

A wall across the US/Mexican border will be built...nobody builds better walls than Trump! And, the Mexican government is going to pay for it. And, Trump will charge Mexico $100,000 for each and every illegal alien entering the US across the US/Mexican border...those who manage to tunnel under or pole vault over Trump's wall.

True, Trump makes no bones about his wealth. Trump probably figured out that lots more Americans would prefer to be rich than want to be poor.

Mexican-American Rosa Palacios said she likes the sound of the truth, and she likes Donald Trump for saying it. During Trump’s visit to the Mexican border on Thursday, she waged her own war of words with anti-Trump protesters at the event and forthrightly defended Trump to a CNN reporter.

“I like what he’s doing. I love what he’s gonna be doing,” she said, in contrast to other Latinos gathered in Laredo, Texas, to protest Trump. “I’m praying for all of his intentions. What he’s talking about and what he’s going to be doing, I hope they go through.”

When Trump announced his presidential candidacy in June, he said: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. … They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

The comments brought strong reactions from the Latino community.

“It’s scary, not just what he says, but in terms of people supporting that,” reacted Albuquerque, N.M., resident Teresa Guevara.

However, even at the time, there were dissenting opinions from the Latino community.

“Finally somebody got up there and said what needed to be said,” Edward Morfin told the Los Angeles Times. “He said what everybody’s thinking but is afraid to say out loud.”

At the scene of Trump’s border visit Thursday, Megyn Kelly reported that the CNN reporter had to double-check Palacios’ ethnicity to make sure she was a Mexican-American. She reported that the CNN reporter than asked Palacios if she was insulted by Trump’s assertion that many undocumented Mexicans are rapists and killers.
