Please take good care of yourself!
I didn't know you were in Berlin on Monday, I was too! Ah, maybe one day we can meet! I would love that. I am 90% decided not to go to NYC, for several reasons. Concern that there might be more attacks is just a part of my decision, I also don't want to leave my burn patients right now and in case something else does happen, I want to be here, with my people, in the hospital, aiding them. I am grateful for what you have shared about the refugees, because there is a lot of misinformation out there and some people try to push their own agendas. There's a lot of anti-islamic and pro-Russian propaganda all around me, it's hard to know what the truth is sometimes, especially since I don't have that much time to inform myself properly. I try to do that as much as possible, but perhaps I don't always choose the right sources. This is why it's important to know and now I am a bit more relieved. However, the news hit me pretty hard, it's now 3 AM here and I can't go back to sleep. I start work in 3 hours, might as well have some coffee. IP: Logged |

Many people are comparing the two incidents, to me they are totally different. The only thing they have in common is that they were both collective tragedies with many dead and wounded people and they both had/will have an important political echo. The charts for the two events are somewhat similar especially in regards to the Aries MC and Uranus in the 10th. Yes, many people are turning against religion, but I don't think religion was the main culprit in either of these events. In Bucharest it was due to some statements of the clergy (like the people at the concert deserved to be punished because they were worshiping satan since they were at a rock concert) and in Paris because people think all terrorists are muslims. But the real causes for these dramas were negligence in the club fire from Bucharest and, in Paris, retribution for France's involvement in Syria. Religion got mixed in because it does aggravate issues, not that I'm complaining, I've been an anti-theist for some time now. I don't mind people seeing it for what it is. IP: Logged |

I think it it me who hasn't explained it correctly, it's late here too I wasn't talking about religion, I was talking about spirituality. There is an under shadow of right versus wrong in the debates stirred by both these tragedies and it is my personal opinion that until both parties won't *see* that the truth of the other one's is just as valid as their truth, there will be war.IP: Logged |

...one could also say that the real cause for the Bucharest drama was retribution for the way things have been in the 25 years since the revolution, retribution for corruption, retribution for laissez-faire. Innocent people have paid the price in both cases. And Saturn is the taskmaster, but also the retributor. He gives rewards to those who have done their job correctly and sanctions those who haven't. These events have a payback feel to me, and this is in no way connected to the actual victims involved. IP: Logged |

There's a lot of hate and negativity going on this thread. It makes me really sad, confused and shocked to read some of the things that have been posted here. I really wish someone would shut this thread down, but I'm sure that probably won't happen. Since that won't happen, can we all talk about astrological events that were/are occurring around the attacks in Paris from now on? Or continue to send our well-wishes to the people in Paris who have been affected by this? (I sense that my 7th house Virgo stellium has come out to play. Where's my scales?) IP: Logged |

I have to agree with this, this is a very honest opinion, there is strong vibe of Saturnian payback and consequences in both charts, and in fact it is difficult to discuss the charts, because of this, for this is a time of compassion and love. But even the refugees issue has a payback theme too. IP: Logged |

I suppose this belongs in a different thread, but I've seen and experienced Saturn taking away and punishing, even if someone (or myself) had done the work, done the right thing, etc...I have no idea about what's being discussed re: Bucharest. This is just a general response about Saturn. The only thing I can think of about the chart, right now, is that Mars was on an Aries point - 0 Libra (Libra being a social sign - and people were killed in social settings). IP: Logged |

Pluto in the 6th house - people trying to enact big change through terror. They want to affect people's everyday lives. Mercury/Sun, Saturn, and Moon in the 5th house. Again with the social settings being highlighted. A football game between two different countries, a restaurant (Cambodian), a bar? And another restaurant I've just heard mentioned. A rock concert. Chiron in the 9th. IP: Logged |

I agree with this. Back to the chart, Eris conj ASC tells us this is not only an act of war, but it will lead to more war Neptune overlaying 12th squaring Mars may point to some backstage actions being revealed as a consequence of these events. Mars is chart ruler for France, and the completion of the Saturn/Neptune square on Vertex axis, with Neptune ruling world MC, is likely to cause a global shift with what Maira described, which will initially cause lots of pain (Chiron following, both Chiron and Neptune retro in Pisces) Chiron direct on 27.11 would be an important turning point here, for showing the chosen path for healing. Also, of course, we have Neptune direct 3 days from now: all the divisive religion and military matters (remember the Mars Neptune square) have green light for acting in the spirit of global spirituality, compassion and peace or not. Neptune turns direct on 7.01 Pisces, encouraging a movement from 6-7 deg Pisces Illumined By A Shaft Of Light, A Large Cross Lies On Rocks Surrounded By Sea which needs to be incorporated, but also left behind (if you ask me, former understanding and forms of religions need to be left behind, but this is my understanding of this Sabian threshold) to A girl blowing a bugle "Pisces 8: A GIRL BLOWING A BUGLE Girl Blowing A Bugle Is there something that you feel you must say? That you must convey? Are there realizations coming through you? Are you experiencing a stirring around delivering a message? Do you feel that there are others that are perhaps letting the cat out of the bag? Talking up or speaking about things that might alarm, harm or confront? Perhaps there’s a need for some things to be said so that you, or others, will finally wake up to the ‘truth’ of something. Knowing when to speak and when to stay silent can be quite a challenge with this degree around. As the Karmic Condition of this degree is Pisces 7: A LARGE CROSS LIES ON ROCKS SURROUNDED BY SEA AND MIST, there can often be secrets, based on religious or spiritual matters, often connected to strong ethical problems or situations, and there can be a confusion around what is right and correct and what will just stir up trouble, prejudice or opposition. Still, sometimes we have a duty to speak up about things that perhaps others won’t. This Symbol shows the ability, or the need, to be able to sound the call, to rally people together, to know when to speak or “Blow her Bugle” to awaken others, to wake up to realities going on in the world, join some cause, etc. At times in your life, you are likely to feel the need to wake up those around you, and, at times, perhaps be woken yourself. When situations get bogged down in emotional or rational complexity and everyone just needs to be rallying and going for the objective, you may be the one to let everyone know. Sometimes this Symbol can show someone who makes a lot of noise; justified or unjustified and they can get people moving. Using simple, receptive innocence will get situations back on track. Sounding the call. Awakening all to action. Loudspeakers, telephones, announcements. Rise and shine! Leading the charge. Resurrection. Proclamations. Whistle blowers. The Caution: Unwarranted and disturbing noise. Showing off. Trumpeting about oneself. Not listening to people. Being annoying. Interrupting. Betraying confidences. Loud voice." "PHASE 338 (PISCES 8°): A GIRL BLOWING A BUGLE. KEYNOTE: A call to participation in the service of the race, as an evolutionary crisis approaches. This symbolic picture presents another aspect of the emotional relationship between the individual and the collectivity of human beings. It can also be related to the old feminist movement or the present women's liberation. In traditional symbolism the woman refers more specifically to the biological and psychic aspect of human life; she is seen primarily as the mother, and/or the intuitive or "psychic" type of person. A new race of human beings may well be slowly unfolding some of its potential of consciousness and fulfillment. The individual who envisions this evolutionary development "sounds the call." He or she is both seer-herald and mutant. In that sense such a human being is both an individual true to his original nature and a dedicated person — dedicated to the future he or she holds in latency as does a seed in mutation. At this third stage of the sixty-eighth five-fold sequence the two preceding phases blend in a new form of consecration of the individual to the Whole. Tomorrow acts through today; it SUMMONS men to rebirth." the Judgment card, understood as deep spiritual Neptunian awakening and rebirth/birth of a new era/humanity, all encompassing, and not as "punishment" (the principle of action/reaction is the engine of our universe, it works by itself, and all benevolent "deities" are aware of it, hence there is no such thing as a punisher god)

They always carry guns in my country. My dad works shifts and there were lots of cops in the street after the news were known. I love my country (Portugal). Feel so bad for the french. I've been sad this weekend. My fathers family came from France two hundred years ago :-(( I'm happy that my french friends live in Belgium. I hope the people in the hospitals improve or at least suffer the minimum. Sorry about the non-astro comment but I feel the chart was analysed well by others. IP: Logged |

I see Saturn Square Neptune too. With Mars triggering the event by conjuncting the eclipse point of the last full moon eclipse. Saggitarius represents religion too. And foreigners, especially those that wander around. With Mars inching toward an exact sextile to Saturn, and Saturn working its way toward and exact square to Neptune, I am afraid we haven't seen the worst of things yet.

ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria[B] or [B]Islamic State of Iraq and ash-Sham. (ash-Sham is an antiquated Arabic name for the Levant.) ISIL stands for Islamic State if Iraq and the Levant. Sometimes it's easier to just abbreviate it to IS, or Islamic State. But in Arabic, people call it Daesh, which also means something like "to trample underfoot." IP: Logged |

I f***ing hate war. But I don't understand this... France Fights Back quote: On Sunday, a dozen French warplanes launched a series of airstrikes against an ISIS command center in Raqqa, Syria, in retaliation for the terror attacks, according to the French Ministry of Defense. The attacks, which came from air bases in Jordan and and the United Arab Emirates, saw 20 bombs dropped on the command center, a weapons depot and a training camp.
? If they knew it was there all along, why are they just now attacking it?
