I think we are being too harsh on Trump. We seem to have forgotten how Obama easily snubbed him a few years back when Trump was throwing tantrums on Obama's birth certificate. Trump will purr like a kitten if a US General thunders plans in a closed room meeting, but in public he will take the credit like a superstar. He is a businessman, that too Real Estate You cut deals with him, and you cannot expect any favors, sympathy, facts or empathy. He will maximize his returns in his Presidency, and all his cronies are going to become filthy rich at the end of 4 years should he keep it together and win [Though why he has to call Hillary Clinton the Devil, and why he should claim the elections will be rigged is beyond my comprehension at the moment. Such utterances cut the vote share] He is not a Warlord nor an Arms Dealer. If he were an Arms Dealer than into real estate, then I would be very very worried, and yes, I would concur with the Apocalyptic Predictions regarding him. The biggest worry for Trump fans should be his lack of experience in governance and his average financial knowledge, which he has to make up using his amazing charisma. He has not generated as much percentage returns to investors as Warren Buffet or Bill Gates. In fact, even Mitt Romney has done better with money. He has been bankrupt, and he has bankrupted many small contractors, especially in Vegas. This will be used against him. I think he started too late, he should have started politics at age 45-48, then he would have become an amazing, "Reaganesque" conservative politician. As of now, it looks like he is going to thrash Hillary in the Debates. Hillary's best chance to win is to publicize game changing policy initiatives and create populist measures that benefit women, stuff that makes the wife of a die-hard Trump supporter secretly cast the vote for Hillary while waving a Trump flag with her husband.

The reason Trump is saying it's rigged, is firstly because it was rigged against Sanders. But even more than that, is due to voter fraud, because when Romney ran, there were 59 districts in Philly and 9 districts in Cleveland all with zero votes for him. That is a mathematical impossibility. So, if Hillary is as crooked as Trump says she is, the thought is that she will try to steal the election. IP: Logged |

I'd love to see any reputable study that demonstrates that voter fraud is rampant in the United States. And no, Randall, it is not a mathematical impossibility. "President Obama received 93 percent of the African-American vote, according to the national exit poll, while Romney received 6 percent. With that kind of backing for Obama, it is almost inevitable that some black precincts would show 100 percent backing for him.” Or, see: http://www.snopes.com/politics/ballot/2012fraud.asp IP: Logged |

Well, I'm not saying it's rampant, but it is a problem, and 68 districts is a lot. And yes, there is proof of "dead" Democrats voting in elections. This CBS expose' found hundreds of dead voters casting ballots, and this was in just one small section of the country. As shown in the article, elected Democrats have been charged and convicted of voter fraud. http://m.townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2016/05/25/cbs-uncovers-voter-fraud-in-la-n2168330 IP: Logged |

I have absolutely no problem being harsh with someone who (in no particular order): *Makes fun of people with disabilities. *Proudly claims he could shoot someone dead in the middle of New York City and his admirers would still love him. *Repeatedly praises dictators like Putin, Saddam Hussein, and Kim Jong Il (or was it Kim Jong Un?) *Repeatedly makes statements that physical appearance is the most important attribute of women, and calls some women fat pigs, "pieces of ass," ugly, etc. *Says he would date his daughter if she weren't his daughter. *Repeatedly refuses to pay his creditors. *Brags about making money in the 2008 housing crash, when so many middle income Americans lost everything. *Yaps about the evils of jobs going overseas, yet outsources the products he sells. *Is supposedly rich, but apparently contributes virtually nothing to charity. *Pretends he is self-made, when in fact he inherited his wealth. *Refuses to release his tax returns. *Insists that John McCain is not a war hero, and does so in a way that demeans his years as a prisoner of war. *Refers to a political rival as "Pocahontas" and says of certain tribal members "they don't look like Indians to me." *Calls Mexican immigrants rapists and insists that a highly respected native-born citizen judge cannot do his job because of his Mexican heritage. *Suggests he might abridge the freedom of the press, and prohibits certain press organizations from his appearances. *Suggests that women who are sexually harassed should just find another job. *Says he would give nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia. *Lies about 70% of the time. *Accuses fire marshals of political motives or incompetence because of crowd size restrictions. *Makes hateful statements about the mother of a soldier who died in service to the U.S. *Refers to "my" African-American and brags that "I have a great relationship with the blacks." *Wants to build a wall along the U.S. - Mexico border. *Wants to ban an entire class of people from entering the U.S. solely on the basis of their religion, in direct contradiction to the principle of religious freedom on which this nation was founded. *Thinks it's funny to say "I always wanted a Purple Heart...this was easier." [after dodging the draft himself] *Thinks it's a sign of strength to refuse to admit you are wrong or ever make a mistake and a sign of weakness to apologize. *Always speaks in a condescending, ridiculing, aggressive, and rude tone of voice. *Says he will pay for the defense of a supporter who physically punches a protestor. *Thinks women should be legally punished (sent to prison?) for having an abortion. *Congratulates himself "for being right on radical Islamic terrorism" within hours of the Orlando massacre. (Note: the shooter was a native U.S. citizen born in this country in 1986. By Trump's rules, he himself should apparently be deported since his mother was an immigrant). *Refuses to renounce support from David Duke/the KKK. *Repeatedly demonstrates he has, at best, a 5th grade knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, and an even lower level of knowledge of world geography. [My apologies for insulting 5th graders]. *Apparently admits rarely if ever reading a book as an adult, and has demonstrated no interest in learning about government or world diplomacy. *Has apparently admitted to insiders he has no interest in governing; he just wants to win the election. And those are just the horrors I can remember off the top of my head.

When Newt is disgusted, now we know we are getting somewhere. The only thing I find funnier than Trumps outrageous remarks is listening to his followers "explain" him ... defending him is even funnier .

Some of those comments were tongue-in-cheek, like the comment about his daughter. The Orlando shooter claimed he did it for Islam. The 70% lying is a ridiculous figure, although, Hillary is close to 100%. Obama himself said Hillary will say anything to get elected. Where is the source where Trump said he doesn't want to govern? Trump didn't inherit his billions. His father gave him a million dollar loan that he had to pay back. And the biggest Democratic bullsh*t lie of all is about Trump making fun of a disabled reporter. This was crafted from a circulated still frame where Trump was showing the reporter groveling. This reporter confirmed Trump's assertion in an article he wrote in 2001 that, in fact, Muslims were celebrating on rooftops after the twin towers fell. Trump was showing him groveling after trying to retract his article. See the video evidence in the link below. Some of the other stuff, I don't remember, but I will look it up. It's called FACT CHECKING. Don't believe what people tell you is true, especially the media. I do know Rosie drew first blood, and he made comments about her, not about women in general. He also said the Kahn's looked like nice people, and their son was a hero. Granted, he should have taken the criticism on the chin, but he did not attack the mother. He shouldn't have said anything, though. But Hillary lied to Gold Star mothers about the cause of their sons' deaths, telling them a video was responsible, when, in fact, Hillary told her own family what really happened. The Democrats attacked that RNC Gold Star mother relentlessly. And Trump NEVER said he would use nuclear weapons. That one is a total fabrication. My understanding is that he gives quite a bit to charity. Didn't he give $2 million of his own money this year to the vets on top of the rest of the donations? I am not sure of the amount, so don't quote me on that one. He is under no obligation to reveal his tax returns. He could even if under audit, but it makes sense to me to wait till the audit is over. His returns are three feet high. The disabled reporter story is complete hogwash: http://www.catholics4trump.com/the-true-story-donald-trump-did-not-mock-a-reporters-disability/ IP: Logged |

Democrats don't care about truth. They will unquestionably believe any story or gossip if it fits their narrative. What SHOULD be on the front page today is that picture of Kerry BOWING to the Iranian leaders. Iran has American blood on its hands and has created many Gold Star parents. IP: Logged |

Several rapes and murders have occurred at the hands of illegal Mexican immigrants. Of course, not all of them are. Most are just trying to attain the American dream. Trump should have been more clear in his comment. But there have been several. Enough to warrant a law about it.IP: Logged |

Where did Trump say that harassed women should find another job? About the judge (although he could have said it with more tact), Trump was saying the judge might be partial by Trump's stance on Mexican immigration, but the media failed to report the judge's ties to the Clinton Foundation. The judge should have recused himself. Trump did call Warren Pocahontas. While I do not agree with those insults, she has called Trump much worse, and Trump was alluding to her lying about being part Native American.IP: Logged |

The 5th grade knowledge of the Constitution is my personal opinion, based upon a variety of interviews and speeches I've heard with my own ears. Sorry if I wasn't clear that is my opinion. I don't have time right now to look up all the stupid "gaffs" he's made in that regard. One had to do with telling Republican members of Congress he'd support Article XII of the Constitution. Another had to do with not being able to name three basic functions of the federal government at a town hall meeting earlier this year. As one example of his lack of world knowledge, he recently made a statement that made it clear he had no idea the Crimea was part of the Ukraine or that Putin had invaded the Ukraine. As for the reading issue, it is detailed in this article: http://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2016/07/25/donald-trumps-ghostwriter-tells-all IP: Logged |

Trump only said that Saddam knew how to kill terrorists. I heard that myself. It's not praise, but it's true. While Obama apologizes to terrorists and Kerry bows to them. Obama pays Iran $400 million, which they will use to kill Americans. And Hillary was behind the deal that paid Iran $150 billion. Hillary gave Putin 50% of America's uranium in exchange for millions in donations to the Clinton Foundation and huge speaking fees for Bill. Hillary also sent Russia technology in her Reset Program. So, if anyone is in bed with Putin, it's Hillary! http://www.amazon.com/Clinton-Cash-Foreign-Governments-Businesses/dp/0062369288 IP: Logged |

The 70% lying figure is from Politifact, which is about as objective as you're going to get (Rachel Maddow dislikes them, if that helps you any). http://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/ IP: Logged |

"He's not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. He's not going to go into Ukraine, all right? You can mark it down. You can put it down. You can take it anywhere you want," he told George Stephanopoulos on ABC's "This Week." When the host pointed out to Trump that Putin was already in the Ukraine, Trump responded, "Ok, well, he's there in a certain way." IP: Logged |

I see where percentages of his statements are true or not true in 2015, but I don't think that justifies that 70% of all his statements are lies. Hillary, however, was given 4 pinocchios by the very Liberal paper, the Washington Post (the highest ranking for liars). But hey, politicians lie. We know that. IP: Logged |

I am adding up Politifact's "Mostly False," "False," and "Pants on Fire" ratings to arrive at the "Lie" figure. If you want to use only the "False" and "Pants on Fire" ratings, it's 54% for Trump vs. 13% for Clinton. Or, "True" and "Mostly True" is 50% for Clinton and 15% for Trump. IP: Logged |

Can you point out where the article says Trump doesn't read? I must admit that the New York Times isn't a very credible source for impartiality. Be aware that at the DNC, Hillary said, "When I wrote It Takes A Village..."IP: Logged |

Both have lied. A lot. But Trump wasn't Secretary of State. And the Liberal press has often given Hillary a pass (like glossing over the racist, sexist, anti-Semetic, and anti-gay statements in the DNC emails), while crucifying Trump for any little thing, even to the point of manufacturing false stories. Of course, Trump doesn't help matters by saying stupid stuff. Had it been RNC emails, the media would have never stopped! You know that's true. IP: Logged |
