They must both be qualified. The parties nominated them. Honesty isn't a prerequisite for POTUS or politics in general.

According to the Constitution, anyone can be president. That's the great thing about this country. The only qualifications are that he/she be 35, a resident for 14 years, and a natural born citizen.IP: Logged |
