All of these polls are legitimate. I may call into question CNN's journalistic integrity, because they made up that bogus secret service story, but I accepted their polling data. Trump was trailing by a wide margin. I never said it wasn't accurate. Republicans face reality and make positive change. We don't hide our heads in the sand and deny reality. Trump and Hillary are almost tied.

Oh, so you admit to being deceptive with the food stamps stat? And I did praise Obama. He's bombing ISIS, which I give him credit for, even though he lied to the public about making headway against them, when he was told that was not the case by 56 intelligence supervisors.

"Keep your plan. Keep your doctor. The average family will save $2,500." All lies! Can we keep our plan? Hell no! Can we keep our doctor? Of course, not! And the costs went up over $4,000 for the average family, for a total of over $6,500 more than Obama promised, with deductibles so high it can never be used. Yeah, that really helps people, doesn't it?

Any positives were in spite of Obama, not due to him. Take gas prices, for instance. He wants them to be as high as in Europe. They would be below $1 a gallon if Obama didn't veto the pipeline. And his power plant executive orders will raise energy costs on the poor. Thank God the Republicans kept him in check! They are the ones to credit for ANY positives to result from Obama's administration, by preventing him from unleashing his full agenda.

Nope, you didn't hit a nerve. Just don't play victim in the future. If you can call others names, and dish it out, be willing to take it. You left out the 36 percent increase, skipped that part, and then you posted the latter half of the stat. And you said: "How is that any different...?" showing that you did it intentionally. And now you deny it again? Maybe YOU should run for office. You'd fit right in.

Having health insurance and being able to use it are two different things. About the only thing Obamacare gives the poor is free blood pressure screenings.

Actually, that stimulus did nothing but put us more in debt. Tying Obama's hands was the best thing. Even in doing so, he still almost bankrupted the country. He doubled the debt. This is the legacy he leaves for our children and grandchildren, while he retires playing golf. and while African-Americans continue killing each other in his hometown whom he all but abandoned.

No, that 36 percent increase in food stamps WAS the topic. It's called deflection, and you're not very good at it. It's exactly like Hillary does when a reporter asks a question she doesn't like--she changes the subject and mentions how good the food is! So, how's the food?

We are a capitalistic society. If you leave the economy alone, it will expand. That's something Dems don't understand. They don't get it. Despite Obama's 900 new regulations, Republicans caused some positives by keeping him in check. Unfortunately, they didn't have the votes at the time to stop the ACA, but it will be repealed.

I said you deflect like she does. Whether you feel like a crook or not is your own self-reflection, not mine. You only show your irrationality when you make up insults, enlarge those imagined insults, and then use them as some kind of perceived trophy. Deflecting a reporter's questions has nothing to do with her being a crook. She's a crook, because she sold the State Dept. to foreign governments and corporations, among other actions.

Back on the poll track

Clinton leads Trump by eight points: Reuters/Ipsos poll

quote:
The Aug. 14-18 survey showed 42 percent of Americans supported Clinton ahead of the Nov. 8 general election. That compares with 34 percent support for Trump. Another 23 percent of likely voters would not pick either candidate.

quote:
Clinton also led a separate Reuters/Ipsos poll that asked people to choose between Clinton, Trump, Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Jill Stein of the Green Party. Some 41 percent supported Clinton and 34 percent supported Trump. Among alternative-party candidates, Johnson came in third with 7 percent and about 2 percent supported Stein.

quote:
The Reuters/Ipsos poll was conducted online in English in all 50 states. It surveyed samples of 1,119 and 1,118 likely voters, respectively, and has a credibility interval, a measure of accuracy, of 3 percentage points.

Nope, that's comparing you to only one tiny aspect of her--deflection--no matter how much you might want to read more into it. But you, on the other hand, called into question my character, which is a direct insult. The recession was caused by Dems pushing no qualifying loans to people who couldn't afford them, so get your facts right.

And you paint half the country with your broad brush of judgmental condemnation, while turning a blind eye to the actions of your own party, as if they are saints. Your support of Hillary's dishonest actions speaks volumes. As to your opinion of me, I don't care. I know I'm a good person, and that's what matters to me. And it's just more attempts at hurling insults my way. If you cared anything about honesty, you could not support such a liar, and even if you don't like Trump, you wouldn't be defending her lying.

Honesty matters. Integrity matters. Character matters. Trump is far from perfect. But Hillary lacks even a modicum of the above.
