Here's an interesting fact: There's only been one Republican who won Ohio and didn't win the presidency--Nixon in 1960. Trump is expected to take Ohio. He just needs FL and NC.IP: Logged |

Hillary leading 46-42 as of now.Record turnout according to CNN in the Early Polls, especially by Hispanic and African American Voters. Was the FBI's "open-close a dead case", making a mockery of a World Class Investigative Agency, a clever tactic to scare more Anti-Trump voters into rushing to the Ballot Booths? Or was it just Hillary's luck that the FBI decided they had seen enough of the 650,000 emails? Surely the election is going down to the wire. The final percentages could be 44.75 Hillary and 44.25 Trump for all we know. Has the Donald got one more trick, one more Trump Card in the next 12 hours ?

I doubt, at this late stage, there are any more cards to play. This is how one article put election eve: quote: It appears the effects of the debates and that recording (if it had any influence on voter preference) have worn off and Trump has gained support among reliably Republican voters. This shows up in the RCP average -- Clinton had about 45 percent of the vote two weeks ago and her standing now is virtually unchanged. Trump, on the other hand, was at 39.9 percent in the RCP average two weeks ago, but he now sits at 42.7 percent in the four-way race. No major party presidential candidate in 2012, 2008 or 2004 improved their national standing by more than two points in the two weeks prior to the Monday before Election Day, yet Trump has improved his polling by about three points in that interval.Nonetheless, his short-term trend may not be significant enough.

Sorry that was a little off topic, but it does concern voting, and there's no way a person who has all their decision making abilities taken away from them can decide which individual to vote for. Do you think this is fair?IP: Logged |

November, Trump has made up ground in several key battleground states that he cannot lose if he hopes to win: Ohio, Florida and North Carolina on the East Coast; Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado in the West. According to the average of polls provided by FiveThirtyEight, Trump has retaken his earlier lead in Ohio, where he has a 66% of winning – an exact reversal of the situation he was in before Comey announced he was reopening the investigation into Clinton's emails. The New York Times Upshot sees the race tied in Ohio and Clinton with small lead in Florida and North Carolina.Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight model shows Trump leading again in North Carolina and Florida. The race in Arizona and Nevada has also tipped to Trump's column according to FiveThirtyEight, with Clinton at a 25% chance of taking the Grand Canyon state and Trump having a 74.3% chance of winning. In Nevada, FiveThirtyEight now gives Trump even odds. The Upshot gives Trump a three point lead in Arizona and Clinton a two point lead in Nevada. The question in those states is how well each campaign can turn out its voters: white men for Trump and Hispanics – who may be voting for the first time – for Clinton. The New York Times reported on November 5th that a surge in early voting by Hispanics in contested states like Florida, New Mexico, Nevada and Arizona had either bolstered Clinton's lead in those states or had narrowed Trump's lead. This was good news for the Clinton campaign, which has seen less enthusiasm among black voters than in the last two presidential elections. Without a large turnout of voters in demographic blocks favorable to Democrats, Clinton's chance of winning diminishes dramatically. One interesting possibility, underscored by the Financial Times's poll tracker, is an electoral college tie, a scenario that we examine in What Happens If The Election Is a Tie? According to Nate Silver, "Clinton would probably lose the Electoral College in the event of a very close national popular vote," though FiveThirtyEight gives a less than one percent chance of such an outcome. http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/111615/current-probabilities-donald-trump-president.asp IP: Logged |

Trump will win Ohio, along with Florida and North Carolina, and he will be our next President. Trump will also win a couple of surprise states. The pendulum will swing just like it always has in modern history after 8 years of one-party dominance in the white house. IP: Logged |
