While there are plenty of progressives who have probably said that, I'm not one of them. Bush did plenty of good during his presidency, even though I'm not fond of his more ideological causes.

I really hope you're right that he does things that will benefit the middle and lower classes. Mostly because those of us who live in that class from day to day have no choice in the matter. If he hurts us, we suffer.
