I liked the video. I thought that two things will happen.
#1 reduce taxes, because he does not want to pay them.
#2 erase Obamacare, because Obama made fun of him.

I did like what this person said and it is good to see that there are politicians out there that are still working for the folk.

ObamaCare, making Americans sick for the last 6 years.

More than half a TRILLION dollars taken out of the senior citizen Medicare fund to pay for this insane rape of the American health care system.

And, Bernie The Commie voted for ObamaCare. Now, Bernie The Commie wants to lecture America about what a good health care system looks like. America had the best health care delivery system in the world...until democrat Socialists broke it. So, save your bullshiiite lectures for the tourists Bernie...and kiss ObamaCare goodbye.

democrats own ObamaCare, all the ObamaCare lies to get it passed and the utter failure of this Marxist Socialist Progressive pile of hot steaming mess. It already cost democrats control of the House of Representatives, the US Senate and now, the White House....and these Socialist Progressive democrat defectives continue to defend it.

No sale.

Nah! We say pass

On a serious note (not that the above is not outrageous), it's been 48h and no sign of forum flooding by fierce anti-communist, anti-socialist SJW and el conspirator Jwhop about the Big Commie Hack. Who's gonna take you seriously now?

Serious holes in your head are letting the sawdust run out.

Trump is as far from being a Communist as you are from being an America loving citizen.

Sorry, that just can't be fixed.

I thought the "no insults" rule applied to all the forums. Why is it en exception here ? And for Jwhop only ?

Not only has Trump admitted there WAS interference by Russia but he is excusing it. Nice America Loving there. Im sure Putin will be a great leader for you, jwhop: imprisoning all protestors and assassinating all competition.

It takes a weak man to need a Big Daddy to save us from ourselves.

A wider latitude is allowed in this Forum due to its political nature, and it applies to everyone equally.

May I ask:
Is it normal to make this $100 co-payment in the U.S.A.?

I suspect that anybody who has ever lived in both: a western European country and the US would never choose US over Europe health care system. I lived in the US for several years (before Obamacare) and in several Western European countries. As per personal experience (not based on propaganda or fake reports). all the 5 European countries I have lived have better health care system than the US...

and wait... they all are far less expensive...

of course this is my subjective assessment in terms of the quality (not the cost as this is well known), but from my experience, the US healthcare system compared with many other in the developed worked is super expensive and low quality in terms of achievements. It has only brought benefits to insurers and the mafia of physicians with unbelievable undeserving high income. Obamacare has tried to solve part of the problem of the system. it has many gaps, but far better than the previous one with 50,000,000 people uninsured. A real shame for a "developed" country to have so many people uninsured.

Copays vary from policy to policy and service to service.. but they are common in most policies. Many people cannot afford them so avoid doctors.

The British complain bitterly about the NHS because after 30yrs privatization it is a shadow of its former self and the cuts keep coming.. there as here the conservatives have striven to discredit by defunding.. but it is still possible for anyone rich or poor to get treatment with no charge, unless they prefer to pay thru private insurance.

When my mother visited me in London our GP came to see my sick daughter and my American mother was astounded, she hadn't had a doctor housecall in years despite very good insurance and a long relationship with her doc... since I've been back in the states I have never heard of such a thing!

Universal healthcare has its limits but to be able to see a practitioner when you need one saves so many lives. Despite Reagan's Edict most hospitals charge whether patients can afford it or not, ands if they can't, bye bye credit rating

The bigger problem is not these outpatients co-payments but the ones you may incur in some emergency cases. what follows is a real case of a friend of mine about 5 years ago. She has an insurance provided by her company. so, not an inunsured, just to give some context.

she had an appendicitis and went to the hospital. she was misdiagnose and sent home. of course, after she came back to the hospital with stronger pain, the appendicitishas became a peritonitis so rather than a simple surgery and few days recovery, she had to go to all the process that entails a peritonitis.. anyway, this INSURED woman had to pay OUT OF POCKET 15,000 dollars. I am not making this up!!!! so, the insurer ONLY PAYS to a certain amount, if the cost goes above that amount, you are screwed. of course it depends on the insurance you have. but the question is, do you know of any case in western europe where someone has paid 15,000 (as co-payment) for an emergency treatment?

my friend has a good job and could affort to pay the co-payment. imagine someone without that capability with a debt of 15,000 for a misdiagnosed appendicitis and an insurance who only pay what is convenient to them. so why people pay insurance if they still have a high risk of paying huge amount of money? in that case, is not better to put the money you pay for an insurance in a saving account and have that money for the moment you need it? the insurance only choose the healthy (not anymore due to Obamacare) and even in these cases, they deny full payment in an emergency situation? this for me reveal the gaps of the system which is tailor made for the insurers.

I like to hear a personal opinion made up by personal experience.

I read the balance from one insurance company out of the U.S.A. and with what both of you have said I had the opportunity to make up my mind.

Thank you very much for the input!

In England, we also had doctors coming to the house, if needed. If not, mum made sure my butt was sitting in the waiting room to see someone - because we could. There was a bit of a wait for hospital beds, when it came to some things, but I don't know how common that was, or still is. It's also better than not getting there at all, because you can't afford to see someone.
