Everyone is in an uproar over Trump's treatment of the CNN reporter at his recent press conference. The reporter interrupted Trump 14 times. CNN also got into the building at 5:45 in the morning to place 8 reserve signs on the front row. What the media doesn't tell you is that Obama did the same thing to a Daily Caller reporter and that Obama snubbed FOX News (the number one news source) in 22 out of his first 36 press conferences.IP: Logged |

Randall, why aren't you yelling about rump lying about draining the swamp, and instead, repopulating it, multiplying the monsters? Your man is a hypocrite over and over, and you adore him. It's astounding. IP: Logged |

With Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram Trump has access to 50 million followers. Plus the press will circulate what Trump tweets. He no longer needs the press. Interviews are nice. FOX News has a great one on Fox and Friends today at 6 am. The specials are also great to watch. "America's First Family: The Trumps Go To Washington" is on ABC at 10 pm Thursday. The press needs Trump, not the other way around. IP: Logged |

I have to disagree with you Randall. The press represents freedom of speech, why does the question of whether or not a president needs the press is even questioned? Do you mean he doesn't need the press to promote his image anymore ? The press is not for commercial promotions only. If the press should only speaks positive things about the government then we're not far from dictatorship. Of course there'll always be gossipy, irresponsible journalists, it's nothing new. But saying the press is useless because of that is going too far.IP: Logged |

To the people with an appetite for its non-stop propaganda conditioning, yes, I suppose it is number one. FOX in the henhouse: 1) Plant the belief 2) Reinforce the belief, satisfyingly 3) Keep people corralled in a safe little tiny area of thought, where they hear what they want to hear and never stray (or really think for themselves)

Hahaha The press represents "freedom of speech". What a gross misrepresentation of a group of moronic, lying leftists who attempt to control, not only speech, but also what information is available to Americans. All those buried stories the press didn't want getting out to American voters. Stories about the Marxist Messiah Obama and the most corrupt woman in America, Hillary The Corrupt. Political activists posing as journalists have lost the "information war". The only people who don't realize that are the little leftist mushrooms whom the "press" fed a steady diet of horseshiiite and kept in the dark. Kaput! IP: Logged |

People should study the history of Fox News: who created it, why, who they were affliated with, what their original agenda was. The full extent of the power play there. If you cannot tell me who the major players have been and how they are linked directly to radical neoconservatism of the most destructive kind, you know nothing about Fox News. Not surprising - staying glued to the TV tends to limit one's scope. IP: Logged |

And jwhop, there is nothing you can say about your boogeymen, The Left, that has ANY RELEVANCE whatsoever to the origins of Fox News. This is a whole other ball park. Left/right is a game the power brokers play to keep "the little people" preoccupied with infighting, instead of researching, discovering, and overturning their oppressors, who work together over both sides of the political divide. MONEY and POWER unite the elites. They regard these social issues that the left and right debate, like sexual orientation versus theocratic wishcraft, as mere mind-cotton for the masses. The higher you get in the spheres of influence, the less those things matter. IP: Logged |

What utter trash.Fox News isn't a "conservative" source of news. At best, it's a mixed source. There are Fox hosts who should be backstroking in the same toilet bowl with the t*rds from MSNBC and CNN. Murdoch is in no way a "conservative" and neither are his 2 leftist sons. IP: Logged |

quote: The Weekly Standard is an American conservative[2][3][4][5][6] opinion magazine[7] published 48 times per year. Its founding publisher, News Corporation, debuted the title on September 18, 1995. Originally edited by founder William Kristol and Fred Barnes, the Standard has been described as a "redoubt of neoconservatism" and as "the neo-con bible".[8][9][10] It is currently owned by MediaDC, a subsidiary of Clarity Media Group, itself a subsidiary of The Anschutz Corporation.[11]Many of the magazine's articles are written by members of conservative think tanks located in Washington: the American Enterprise Institute, the Ethics and Public Policy Center, the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, the Hudson Institute, as well as the Foreign Policy Initiative. Individuals who have written for the magazine include Elliott Abrams, Peter Berkowitz, John R. Bolton, Ellen Bork, David Brooks, Christopher Hitchens, Roger Kimball, Harvey Mansfield, Joe Queenan, and John Yoo. The magazine's website also produces regular online-only commentaries. Although the publication had, as of 2006, never been profitable and reputedly lost "more than a million dollars a year," News Corporation head Rupert Murdoch had previously dismissed the idea of selling it.

He is the founder and editor at large[2] of the political magazine The Weekly Standard and a political commentator on several networks.Kristol is associated with a number of prominent conservative think tanks. He was chairman of the New Citizenship Project from 1997 to 2005. In 1997, he co-founded the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) with Robert Kagan. He is a member of the board of trustees for the free-market Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, a member of the Policy Advisory Board for the Ethics and Public Policy Center, and a director of the Foreign Policy Initiative. He is also one of the three board members of Keep America Safe, a think tank co-founded by Liz Cheney and Debra Burlingame, and serves on the board of the Emergency Committee for Israel and the Susan B. Anthony List.[3]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Kristol quote: The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) was a neoconservative[1][2][3] think tank based in Washington, D.C. that focused on United States foreign policy. It was established as a non-profit educational organization in 1997, and founded by William Kristol and Robert Kagan.[4][5] PNAC's stated goal was "to promote American global leadership."[6] The organization stated that "American leadership is good both for America and for the world," and sought to build support for "a Reaganite policy of military strength and moral clarity."[7]Of the twenty-five people who signed PNAC's founding statement of principles, ten went on to serve in the administration of U.S. President George W. Bush, including Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Paul Wolfowitz.[8][9][10][11] Observers such as Irwin Stelzer and Dave Grondin have suggested that the PNAC played a key role in shaping the foreign policy of the Bush Administration, particularly in building support for the Iraq War.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_for_the_New_American_Century I know you won't get all that. Others might see a glimmer of how Murdoch has been the megaphone for Neocon plots before they ever even got their grubby hands on the White House. What I'm talking about is of ENORMOUS significance. IT CHANGED THE WORLD.

Rumsfeld, Cheney, Wolfowitz, do these names ring a bell? They were looking for a "New Pearl Harbor" before 9-11, to justify a Middle East invasion. Hmmm does that look fishy to anyone? You can read Rebuilding America's Defenses, in full, online. See for yourself what the plot was! WATCH http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aepfsJfWxV0 IP: Logged |

Why President Obama is a Neocon http://news.vice.com/article/why-president-obama-is-a-neocon Wondering about what's going on in Syria? That was planned YEARS ago: http://www.globalresearch.ca/we-re-going-to-take-o ut-7-countries-in-5-years-iraq-syria-lebanon-libya-somalia-sudan-iran/5166 We should all KNOW these things by now, but it's like people's minds are hermetically sealed against any information that wasn't presented with a lettuce leaf and garnish on a platter served by Fox News or some other mainstream propaganda venue. Oh, excuse me but what's your point?Bill Kristol is a schumk and part of the #NeverTrump morons. This is the guy who tried to gin up candidates to oppose Trump and tried to get Trump delegates to not vote for Trump at the Republican Convention. Besides which, we were talking about Fox News, not the Weekly Standard...which I'm familiar with but wouldn't be caught dead on their site. Do you know what the word..Neocon means? IP: Logged |
