US will pay 50% directly, Mexico will pay 50% indirectly [Increased Tariffs, Increased Visa Fees for Mexicans etc]. And both governments will claim that neither of them paid for it to ensure their loyalists are happy. That is politics for you. IMHO, a Wall is unnecessary. Better policing of the border will do the trick. No wall can prevent a network of tunnels in the future. IP: Logged

The wall is to keep drugs out of our country. A country with no borders is not a country at all. Had Trump reneged on his promise to build the wall, the left would have crucified him. Cartels will use Drones to ferry drugs, or subterranean networks or diplomatic channels or manufacture drugs on US Soil [ "Breaking Bad" on Steroids]. Demand always creates supply. So to win the battle against drugs, the Youth must discover Spirituality within, and reject the temptation to use drugs. Sometimes I think is good sometimes I think is bad.Many people die trying to cross the border,many are raped.If you are too tired to walk and get sick the coyots leaves you behind and you die.I think if gets extremelly difficult to enter many people will eventually stop trying illegally and coyots will lose their "jobs".What I don't like is the hate spread this caused towards people from different races.
