I think what the author and this entire argumentation fails to see or feel (maybe it is a question of empathy that prevents him from doing that) is that you don't need to ban every Muslim in the world to create a Muslim prejudice, for US Muslims and outside. Not to mention the prejudice against 7 nations, no matter the religion (assimilating them with terrorists) for all US nationals born in those countries and all people in those countries who now know the US has declared them persona non grata and the consequences coming from this. As for unconstitutional illegal religious favoritism, would this @realDonaldTrump
Christians in the Middle-East have been executed in large numbers. We cannot allow this horror to continue! 7:03 AM - 29 Jan 2017 not imply the administration being more concerned/giving priority to Christians than Muslims or other religion? To me it translates as: Christian refugees are more welcome, we even need to save them (from the Muslims), which means the president instills a religious prejudice in the US as well.
Just trying to explain where I think the protests come from. ------------------ I seem to have loved you in numberless forms... LeeLoo's Esotericorner IP: Logged |

The Obama administration determined these countries to be the hotbed of terrorism, not Trump. IP: Logged |

http://thehill.com/policy/national-security/316790-kelly-entry-of-lawful-permanent-residents-is-in-the-national A lot of the outrage could have been prevented if Steve Bannon had allowed DHS to do their jobs in the first place. Detaining legal permanent residents was beyond stupid, unless Bannon really does plan to incite protests and eventual anarchy.

This isn't true. A friend posted about that, earlier. She has no connection here, do I'm not sure if she'd want me sharing her post, but I might ask later. IP: Logged |

Wow, because your friend said it, it must be true. Your Marxist Messiah can do no wrong. The left lives in a constant state of denial about Obama. Obama singled out these 7 countries in 2015.IP: Logged |

My friend, the journalist that I trust more than I trust you? Yes, I believe her. Why should I trust you over her? You don't have special access to the truth. And yeah, keep smirking. I take nothing seriously from you, when it's attached to a smirk. IP: Logged |

The short version: the bit regarding terrorism, and those countries, was slipped into something by the Republicans. Democrats fought them, and Obama only signed it, compromising, so as to not shut down the government. IP: Logged |

i don't give a crap if it was Obama, Trump, the pope, Khomenei, Peter the great or Empress Sisi or my mother: It was Trump who executed finally. It's his repsonsibility that the U.S. has committed - again - a crime against humanity. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxkYW74HUUs&t=150s It's against the U.N. refugee convention http://www.unhcr.org/1951-refugee-convention.html IP: Logged |

blablabla... i heard differently. Many accuse Saudi Arabia to be a supporter- it would make sense since they are Sunnis. Ah, the Iranian governemnt says the same. just have a look at the tweets of Rohani and that foregin minister Mohammed Dschawad Sarif - the latter even calling the ban a ticket for extremists. Whatever, both say they want to fight terrorism and backwardness. Also, i see no sense why the Iranian government - i do hate the Mullahs you know that - should support IS?! They are Shiits and Shiits are on the No 1 list of enemies of Sunni IS while the Saudis are Sunnis. So, basically the nauseating governments of both Saudi Arabia and Iran claim to fight the IS- who is right? And what about Saudi terrorists? There were terrorists fron Saudi Arabia - name me one terrorist who was of Iranian decent. One of the guys flying into the twin towers was Saudi- where is your comment on that? IP: Logged |

We are not talking about descent. Iran is the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world, meaning that they fund it. They pay others to carry it out. IP: Logged |

Here is number 8 U.S. Code 1182, inadmissible aliens. This law was written in 1952. It was passed by a Democrat-controlled Congress, House and Senate, and signed by a Democrat president.“Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by president. Whenever the president finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, the president may, by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.” - See more at: http://www.commonsenseevaluation.com/2017/01/29/ban-muslims-others-already-u-s-law-8-u-s-code-1182/#sthash.s4BGH1ov.nm90RrvP.dpuf IP: Logged |

yeah, i know. Germany has a similar law but i was talking about innocent people- like the relatives about your Iranian friend/former roommate. Do you think they find it great that they are probably not allowed to seeing each other?! like this gentleman: http://www.facebook.com/ZeitimBild/videos/10154852739651878/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE (I do know you are on FB)

Afghanistan (Taliban) and Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood) are missing as well And LebanonAs i said: Very strange, the countries with the highest amount of terrorists are missing on the list. The terrorists of 9/11:
1. Mohammad Attar -> Egypt 2. Marwan al-Shehhi -> Arab Emirates 3. Hani Handschur -> Saudi Arabia 4. Ziad Jarrah -> Lebanon No one from Yemen, Iran, Somalia, Lybia, Iraq. It's outrageous Iraq has been put on the list- after committing sooo many war crimes, the U.S. has the nervs to exclude them. Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. IP: Logged |
