Fake news is claiming these outlets were banned, which is completely false. It wasn't their turn in the daily press pool rotation, which, by the way, the white house doesn't control. FOX News even fell for this one at first, but upon review found that it was false.

Did Spicer tell you that?

It was on FOX News last night and again this morning. The facts are as follows: The rotating press pool is a very limited event in a small room. It includes only 13 people who represent several forms of media, and they then go back to tell the rest of the media about what was discussed. The white house started with those 13 (who they had no control over the selection process) and added a few more. The added ones were not CNN, the Post, or the NYT. It was not a ban.

And, sorry again, was it the perfect response to FAKE NEWS OUTLETS or "not in their control"?
