Teasel mentioned this in the Mooch thread. Deserves its own[b] I hate the "this is what you missed when you were distracted" comments in headlines, and on twitter - it sounds so smug - but this is something to read: http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/entry/bill-browders-senate-judiciary-committee-hearing_uk_597ee55ce4b02a4ebb7675a6 IP: Logged |

To which i replied
What a surprise. The same 230 million Bahrara was fired for pressing charges for so Sessions could call off the dogs for 6 million settlement no doubt. And the Russians dropping like flies, just little reminders that no one is safe... and wikileaks, turning into Trump propaganda headquarters. .. their latest gives insight into how Truth Led they are. When was Assange comprised/ sold out? http://m.dailykos.com/stories/2017/7/30/1685501/-WikiLeaks-Officially-in-the-bag-for-Trump?

I can`t pull it up ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

I am watching the video of the hearing right now, and I am amazed to think that out of any foreign country, it is Russia that is humiliating the US by basically being the puppet master, trying to repeal the magnitsky act that doesn't suit Putin. What also strikes me in this video, is the CHANCE it is for a country to be able to have these hearings in the senate, to have them recorded and freely available. True. One of the things that we have to be careful of is internet constraint. Russia, the U.S. and China have dismantled internet privacy rules. IP: Logged |

Senator Blumenthal asking :"If for example, there were project to build hotels or office buildings in Russia that required permits and the permits were promised through channels that might be illicit or in ways that might be improper, that would be something that could be held over the head of an american businesman, correct ?" Browder's answer : "If there is clear evidence that the Russians could have created of an american violating the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, that could then be used as leverage that could then be held over the head of an american" That was the last question of the hearing ... Soooo, did Putin get what he wanted. NO Time for the hecklers in the cheap seats to drop the nonsense that President Trump is giving Putin what he wants. Putin doesn't want a strong US military Putin doesn't want booming US energy production Putin doesn't want America supplying natural gas to Europe Putin doesn't want US anti-ballistic missiles in Eastern Europe. Putin doesn't want anything at all that President Trump is actually doing The worst persons to fool are yourselves. IP: Logged |

You forgot the "yet". You forgot that much of that 230 million appears to have been funneled thru Trump real estate. You forgot that wikileaks appears to be using out of context info to smear Mueller for doing his job.. which throws suspicion on their anti dnc dump last fall. You left out a lot.. and the rest, so far talk only IP: Logged |

What are you bloviating about? What 230 million are you talking about? Oh, one other thing Putin doesn't want! President Trump is going to sign the Russia Sanctions Bill. In fact, there isn't anything President Trump has done or has said he will do...that Putin likes. Including the ordering of about 60 cruise missiles to strike a Syrian air base that launched a WMD..Gas attack on Syrian civilians. I'm not interested in your Cracker Jacks News Network crash dummies. IP: Logged |

There are a few things I don't get.One of them being why these investigations are taking so long to produce action. What pieces of the puzzle are the different factions waiting for? As far was we know this has been going on for at least two years. We do have an inkling of the complexities and a looong list of players. I realize all has to be tightly wrapped in order to go to trial. RE Assange, I have to do more reading to come to a conclusion. I will say at the moment that everyone has preferences including Assange. Emotional, monetary, seeming alliances... at the moment I am not buying that Putin checks those boxes for him. IP: Logged |
