It is definitely money laundering if Trump sold it for half the market value, booked loss in the books and then took the balance half payment as cash. It gets worse if the Russian in question belongs to a Russian Mafia Family.
Anyway, innocent till proven guilty as per the Tax Return analysis. And this does not mean he cannot stay as President.
GOP will not impeach him no matter what. They cannot win without Trump Voter Base.

Trump has been looking for a way in to running for Prez for 30 years. So it's really not so farfetched for long game players to have started paving the road ten years ago. And Russian money has been floating DT&co for at least that long

Proof is in the tax returns which have details of the shell companies used by Russians to send payments. Eric bragged about huge Russian investment some years back.
