The March For Our Lives is a planned demonstration, scheduled to take place on March 24, 2018, in Washington, D.C. and throughout the United States. Student organizers are planning the march in collaboration with the nonprofit organization 'Everytown for Gun Safety', following the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, reported by some in the media as being the tipping point for gun control legislation. Organizers are planning 836 March For Our Lives events. A number of sister marches around the world will also be taking place, to reflect solidarity and support. I was in Cleveland, walking up there. I wish I'd also been able to watch the livestream. Hopefully there will be a place to watch the whole thing. I've seen clips, so far. IP: Logged |

What should be the sobering reality, for all sides, is some of the marchers will vote mid-term. Many if not most will vote in the 2020 election. The implications do not look good for the old guard. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

The only reason Trump won because the democrats ran such a weak, flawed, and unpopular candidate-and yet she still won the popular vote.Trump does not represent the will of the American people, he represents about 1/3 of the country, and a large portion of this 1/3 are white baby boomers who are on their way out. Things are changing. IP: Logged |

Clinton's campaign was a hot mess and cringe at best. Trump's team knew what they were doing. Obviously states didn't want Hillary to win either, otherwise she would have had the electoral college and not just the popular vote. The popular vote is not always the wise choice, which is why we even have the electoral college in the first place. It's not about being republican or democrat, I'm just trying to make a point. I live in New York, which other than New York City is actually full of conservatives who think alike. Most of New York is the total opposite from NYC, but because they have so many people crammed in that city voting democrat, we all feel that strain. You can't just chalk up his win to "white baby boomers". That's ridiculous. I'm a millennial and I voted for Trump. A lot of the other people my age did the same. A lot of other people my age feel that they can't even bring it up. Many people of my generation, who are actually politically involved, even somewhat, support Trump. And it wasn't because he was the lesser of two evils. It's because we are sick of lying politicians. My generation is slowly waking up. The social justice idiots you see plastered all over the internet are naive young students who are being told what to think and literally regurgitating thoughts that don't belong to them and what they are led to believe are facts, that absolutely are NOT. Those are the kids that voted for Hillary because Bernie wasn't an option anymore. But I give them props because at least they didn't completely screw off voting just because their candidate had no chance anymore. I truly believe that the folks who voted for Hillary, did so just because they didn't want to vote for Trump. I think it is so strange that everyone wants to talk about all of the wrong things Trump has said or allegedly has done but NO ONE who supports Hillary or is on that side of the field wants to discuss what Hillary Clinton has actually done. She has committed fraud and is a disgusting human being. IP: Logged |

I find it interesting that Trump supporters seem unwilling to discuss all of his failings and only seem focused on Hillary's.If Hillary were President I'd be quite focused on her failings, but shes not, shes mainly irrelevant at this point. I'm instead focused on the corruption in the Trump white house. If Hillary was president I'd be focused on her corruption-and I have no doubt she is. IP: Logged |

Trump is a disgusting thing parading as a human being, I don't know how you can think otherwise with everything about him that's out there. I hate to think what we don't know. I also find it "interesting" that his supporters don't think it's a big deal that Russia helped him to win/steal the election. Hillary hasn't been charged with anything, she's a free woman. Your man in the White House is still dealing with an investigation that shows his whole team seemed to be wrapped up with Russia in this. IP: Logged |

Leftists just can't wrap what's left of their minds around the fact that all these shootings happen in GUN FREE ZONES. For some reason, leftists think these shooters are as stupid as they are. But the fact is, these shooters are much smarter and don't attack where people have guns and would most certainly shoot back. There's about 170 school districts in Texas which ARE NOT gun free zones. This one, located near one of the leftist meccas of Texas, Houston, wasn't one of them. So, leftists wheeze, whine, screech and shriek about..."saving the kids" but never, ever lift their little fingers to provide any real security...for the kids. To leftists, this is a political issue which they want to feast on without providing any effective remedies. Btw, while leftists are shrieking about bump stocks, AR-15s and high capacity magazines, this shooter used a shotgun and .38 Special revolver. IP: Logged |

Seeing as the collective attention span is about 2 seconds, and the failure of polls in 2016, I think it's reasonable to say that polls are basically bogus.IP: Logged |

Not sure what you mean by like mummy and daddy? But if you think my vote was based off their opinion, it's not the case. My parents are unfortunately part of the problem. They don't vote. They get their news from Facebook. They feed off of the system. I have learned from their mistakes and lack of responsibility. Electing Trump, for those who voted for him, is a step forward. Changes are happening. We can agree to disagree. IP: Logged |
