As a reminder, Reagan won 44 states in 1980 and 49 states in 1984. Just sayin'.

Reagan's approval rating never dipped below 40. Reagan SPAT on Russia and would prosecute any American who took money from Russian Mobsters and escape paying taxes using such money as Capital Gains. Reagan never took support of KKK, nor did he use KKK slogans like "America First". Reagan never grabbed ladies inappropriately. And he was a one woman man, with a personal Astrologer as well. Reagan never ever bad mouthed the FBI, and never destroyed the US State Department, in fact he increased US Diplomatic Presence globally. USA got Worldwide respect under him.

Hence, he could attain massive victories.

President Trump disavowed the KKK, and America First has to do taking care of our own country before we go out trying to solve the world's problems. Reagan may not have said those words, but he did it, and in 1980, Reagan said "Make America Great Again." Polls were accurate back then. They are rigged now. They stack them with Dems. President Trump is way more popular than you think. The FBI deserve to be badmouthed. Conflicts of interests much?

Over 170 House Dems and 33 Senate Dems voted for Reagan's tax cuts. Back then, Dems cared about more than just obstructing and resisting.

Reagan did not have a one party govt. He worked with the Dems It is ludicrous that you would accuse the Dems of obstructing when a) their votes aren't even needed to push thru your agenda and b) the Repubs not only refused to do
anything Obama wanted but left the judicial branch seriously understaffed including the SCOTUS unril such time as they had Completed control of Legislative and Executive branches.

Oh.. and in 1982 the already Dem controlled House gained 27 seats
