Think about it : you are sick and want to see a doctor, he/she gets you a treatment, and it cost you ... well you know ... hummm... yes ... well.... 0 ! Nothing, nada nichts. They heal you for nothing... like in france, uk ...... basically every other developped nation

Think about it, norwegian universities have no tuition fees. See, i mean that degree you thought you should have done when you were younger, but didn't cause it costed the price of a shuttle to go to the moon, well, in norway, or in france it cost the price of a dinner in town....

Why would people from Norway come here? Their country is better, they have paid leave, job security, health care, they don't live in fear of mass shootings or nuclear war, they are happier than us.

All those replies on the thread you posted reminded me that not long ago, the world still had a great man at the head of the most powerful nation of the 20th century, and moreover that an huge amount of descent people share the same visison.

Gross ignorance!

France has a corporate tax of 15% on income up to 38,000 Euros and 33% above 38,000 Euros. An individual income tax of 45% on income below 500,000 Euros and an additional 4% above 500,000 Euros.

In addition to those taxes, France has a VAT...Value Added Tax of 20% levied on all manufactured goods and services with some lower on restaurants, tourism etc.

Norway has a 24% corporate tax rate and a 47% individual income tax rate.

In addition, Norway has a Value Added Tax..VAT.. rate of 25% with a few lower rates for some consumer spending.

It's laughable for anyone to say Norway and France have FREE health care. It's NOT FREE. The premiums to fund it all is built into everything earned or consumed by French and Norwegian citizens.

The bigger joke is that corporation and other businesses pass through all their taxes and everything else to consumers who buy their products and services. Those hidden taxes are built into the prices they charge consumers for their products and services. You're paying for it ALL and don't even know it!
