Complete UK/Australia/Japan type ban on Assault Rifles is the only way out. The Terrorist was not old enough to purchase a hand gun [2nd Amendment type gun] but was allowed to purchase an Assault Rifle [Something the Founding fathers never envisioned, such a mass killing device invented by maniacs for psychopaths.]If only hand guns were allowed for self-protection, not a single mass shooting event would have occurred in America. Massacres could have been prevented in many of these cases if people were armed. Not just the school shootings alone, but in shootings such as the Orlando club, as an example.IP: Logged |

^ Ya, but on the other hand, it might also lead to people starting massacre over small stuff coz well...they're armed.Nicolas looks so sensitive though in the pics, like someone who has been through a lot,very fearful eyes. Here is another clue to the problem.. continuous sensationalism creates an aura of glamour thru infamy to disturbed kids with no sense that they matter much in the world..Or that anyone else does it seems. And not enough parents who actually pay attention to what their kids are up to.. in this case simeone did notice and took responsible action:

This girls statement is seriously skewed and being misinterpreted. The video commentator makes some very sensible points about misunderstood evidence..

I saw his clip of the first girl interviewed, who was bizarrely saying that she thought there were two shooters?? That was her HEAD trying to reconcile what happened TO HER just then. THAT was a psychological skip/slip the mind can do in a dissociative state of shock. And the interviewer.. "led" her, for creating his "content"???? ~despicable!!! NO WAY---
When I watch the nuances of her face, body language... SHE IS TRAUMATIZED... her 'mind' can't deal with this right now. I want to condemn the perverted NEED of some people to take advantage and make money OFF a TRAUMATIC serious tragedy, like that youtuber and others. But, look at what he does? It drives revenue for him.
Follow THE MONEY   . And I seriously doubt that many who were interviewed were 'clear' about what happened. She, her classmates, the school and community sustained an egregious wound to the psyche.
Some will be haunted by this experience FOR LIFE..
This was a LIFE-CHANGING psychological TRAUMATIC event for those personally involved. So many PRAYERS...

He is basically saying that people taking her statement as proof that there was a second shooter (and there are plenty)are going off half cocked and that for now thr most complete story is coming from the mainstream. I am saying that her account is not necessarily accurate whether traumatized or attention seeking i cant tell...and the conclusion that she heard gunshots while talking to him ignores what she actually reported which was that she heard shots before and after seeing him I don't consider myself expert enough to read her state of mind I'm just talking about the leaps of belief people make.. every single time this happens IP: Logged |

DT's NRA stomp speech was a no gun zone. Congress is a no gun zone. The prevalence of guns - or regulations - seems to have little bearing on the prevalence of gun violence according to these statistics

What an amazing Town-Hall today!
Proud of the American Youth.And respect for Marco Rubio who got verbally thrashed and bashed from 360 degrees of an angry crowd yet he had the guts to show up. If he does not start the process of stringent background checks and banning bump-stocks next week, he will never win a Senate Seat again in his life.
He got the message. The NRA is yet to get the message. Once Dems flip the House and Senate, a 10 billion dollar Lawsuit against NRA for complicity in deaths of Americans due to Assault Rifles can be taken up. The Youth must bankrupt the NRA and ensure they never fund another Heartless Creep to any elected office again. The 2nd Amendment does not permit Mass Killing Machines. That message has to resonate.
