I sat watching fireworks, thinking of the people who thought this was a country that would still be worth fleeing to, and end up locked up, and sent back to where they came from. The children separated from their parents, those lost to human traffickers, or just plain LOST, and the denaturalization force that's apparently being started up by rump, who wants to take away citizenship from naturalized citizens - people who are here LEGALLY.I wasn't in the mood to celebrate that.
