You guys are toxic. I actually feel ill. In the meantime, I've just found out about two more of my friends who were raped as teenagers, and never reported it. One I've known since I was two, and she only just told me. She's only ever told her husband before.

Not one of us knows if she is actually lying, but the president has come out with a verdict before testimony had taken place.

And shura, if your assailant was in Kavanaughs shoes right now would you feel perfectly confident watching him be pushed thru to a lifetime appt on the SC? Today shrug it off as "ther breaks" and accept people coming up with certain knowledge of your thought processes and character.. -and threatening your life? Did the people you told accuse you of lying or provoking the attack?

Innocent doesn't always look that way, nor does guilty; that's why we hear evidence.. anyone remember?

People believe she is lying based largely on her own word. The greater situation (lawyer, political history, etc) further supports that opinion. Obviously none of us "know", we're making a judgment call based on evidence - or lack thereof. If there is more evidence being withheld, let that $900 a hour lawyer start the litigation process and we can all hear it in a court of law, rather than trial by media and public opinion poll.

Kavenaugh and his family are also receiving death threats. If you stick your head out, right or left, you will receive death threats. I don't like it, I trust you don't either, but that's where we are now. Don't pretend its a one way street.
