When the hearings (proper) started I was mildly for Kavanaugh. I have been disgusted by the emphasis on all the wrong reasons put forward not to confirm him.. tho to be fair the Repubs swore to block ANYone Hillary might appoint if she won so I'm not buying their holy indigation and excuses either about end of term versus beginning, political opposition etc Since the hearings and seeing his evasions, lies and partisan fury.. i hope some senators grow some, if only to save their seats. I don't expect politicians to stop politicking but a little honor goes a long way! IP: Logged |

Right, they did promise to block her at every turn. They also decided that she was guilty, instead of going along with the "innocent before proven guilty". They've done it on this very board, too. Which is rather sick, tbh. IP: Logged |
