I haven't followed the Paris business, but I suspect some of us are forgetting what it takes to get a head of state from pt A to pt B. The logistics no doubt made more complex when that head of state is traveling in what might be considered a unfriendly, and potentially unstable, country. Ascribing silly personal reasons, like a bad hair day, to a decision made by apolitical security forces is … well, it's the sort of thing I would expect to read here.

So, once again, leftists can't get their facts straight. But then, when did they ever!
Embarrassing.

"In a story Nov. 10 about President Donald Trump canceling a planned visit to a cemetery for Americans killed in World War I, The Associated Press reported that the Secret Service determines when it's safe to fly Marine One, the president's helicopter. The story should have made clear that the Marine Corps and White House Military Office make the determination to ground the president's helicopter due to bad weather. The military office then presents the recommendation to the White House in collaboration with the Secret Service.

So it turns out Trump never made the decision at all about whether he could travel or not due to the rain, the military and the Secret Service decided what was safe and feasible. And Rhodes either didn't know that, which makes him an ignorant boob, or else did know that but wanted to score some political points. Now the correction exposes him and his icky little scolding shaming act for the phony show it was."

Jwhop, God bless you, but it's nothing to do with facts or getting them straight. It's about pushing the agenda. It's about framing the narrative.

Yes France is so unstable and unfriendly. And DT is so much more fragile and important than anyone else who managed to show up. Perhaps if he werent so keen to humiliate and make enemies he'd have less to worry about.

I'm not wishing anyone dead, and your hysterical response to some people being critical of your precious leader far outweighs what started as a tease about his vanity.

Thank you for answering, Randall, i hadn't seen teasels remarks about the insulting response to the fires, just your post. No idea why you would mention the title of the thread to explain that but nvmd.

One assumes that the other leaders there had adequate transport so im sorry if your patriot pride was offended by my sarcasm about ours not being up to the job. It does seem a bit embarrassing to those who constantly insist we have nothing but the best that he was the only one so hobbled.

Whatever we may think of him, if Trump's safety isn't the number one priority of our SS, I'd say thats a problem, yeah. We have no idea what threats were issued or what the conditions were. This is a big nothing and shame on the shameless Left for making it seem otherwise. Very petty.

I'd add that the presidency shouldnt be a popularity contest.

As to framing the narrative there are people here who can't even mention those they perceive as threatening with any less than 3 or four pejorative adjectives and madeup names.. no agenda there I'm sure.

Just because you don't get what people find alarming about DT really doesn't make them wrong. Considering the innumerable guffaws and cries of incompetence when Obama quipped that he'd visited 57 states on a long tour.. probly time the defense

relaxed a little. The hysterics in reply to an unkind remark by aPressPerson (gasp!).. are really quite chuckleworthy themselves

Any idea why Donnie is skipping the visit to the Arlington Cemetery on Veterans Day?

Or did US also become an unstable country like France, and Secret Service is not confident of protecting Trump on US Soil?

Or was that fake news and Donnie did attend?
I saw it here: https://www.rawstory.com/2018/11/white-house-confirms-trump-will-not-visit-arlington-cemetery-veterans-day-rain-expected/

Macron trolled Trump once again!

Tweet from French Embassy:
We participated in a ceremony at @ArlingtonNatl to honor the sacrifices of soldiers during #WWI by laying a wreath on the tomb of the #UnknownSoldier.
#VeteransDay

Amazing! The narrative is that even France respects American Soldiers more than Trump.

That narrative won't hold, for obvious reasons.

Yes, it is becoming unstable. Shall I send you a congratulatory gift, iQ?

Did someone say they wanted rump dead? I've never wanted him dead, no matter how much I loathe him.

Nobody dare harm a hair on Trump!

Most Entertaining President of All Time!

I want to see him fight the re-election battle in 2020.

The Debates will be off the charts as he makes things up every second, and the TrumpCult/QAnon crowd defends his gaffes.

"Make America ROFL Again" will be the Slogan.

And the excuses after the thrashing would be even more entertaining...

There was zero visibility due to fog. The Secret Service prevented President Trump from flying there, and the distance was also too far from Air Force One for "control center" reasons. The next day, it was pouring down rain, and President Trump was there. Fake F'ing News!

No, because he arrived home late and had a lot of business to attend to, but he did say that he was sorry he didn't, and this was one of the few times President Trump said he had regrets.

Notice that with the truth staring them straight in the face, the yipping, yapping leftists are still trying to make an issue out of President Trump not flying into a fog bank in a helicopter.

First, Fake News
Now, Fake IQs
