Agree with you. This Simmons bill has no chance of passage. A drivers license is the pathway to registering to vote. Simmons might find it tough to get himself reelected.

He's a little psychotic, backing legislation to curtail any sanctuary cities in Florida, then offering legislation to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens. Not in my voting district but if he were, I'd vote for his republican opponent. Longwood is near Orlando which is somewhat more liberal than the Sun Coast where I live.
