I'm still just completely dumbfounded by her statement. I've heard a lot of awful things, but that one might take the cake.

No one is born with malicious intent. Certain people go through things throughout their life that change their outlook and how they approach others. But that doesn't happen quickly and there is NO way to anticipate the type of person we will become. To even think that we should or could is just...scary. Everybody has a chance, every day that they wake up, to choose how to live their life.

Different religious beliefs are valid or not? As a belief,yes as science no.

When does life start? Who can really prove when?

I remember reading that the soul doesn’t enter a body until close to the time of birth. Who knows?

I know that my mum didn’t take her abortion lightly. I have friends who didn’t take theirs lightly, either. I posted the link above, from a woman whose grandmother died due to a self-indicted attempt at abortion.
