Things are getting more and more curious.

Trump should have flung his tax returns on the face of Dems and insulted them then and there, claiming a moral high ground. He did lead a "Birther Movement" demanding Obama's Birth Certificate for years, and Obama even released it.

How will this all play out now?

Courts are supporting Transparency so far, the elected House of Reps has Constitutional Authority to investgate, and so far they have been very nice/kind, not sending the Sergeant at Arms to arrest Barr/Mnuchin.

I feel someone in the IRS is going to leak trump's Tax Records, and this will be timed with a leak of the unredacted Mueller Report. Lets see.

President Obama was obstructed at every turn, called a liar outright in session, a politician wagged her finger in his face, and other disrespect, I think some even making a mountain out of the molehill of him wanting Dijon mustard on a burger for crying out loud (and there was a revival of Confederate flags going up while he was POTUS), and plenty, including Trump, demanded his birth certificate, saying things like he's from Kenya, and others who took it even further by accusing him of being an Islamic plant, or out to destroy Whites or some crap like that. And then there was all the racist memes and "jokes" like him growing watermelons by the White House (I probably shouldn't, but I'll let those depicting him as a monkey go since W. Bush was also portrayed as a monkey, and Bill Maher, if jokingly, demanded Trump show his birth certificate so he could know Trump wasn't actually an orangutan.)

Oh! Funny story (well to me, it won't be to the super conservatives here). My cousin asked me why my uncle (his father) was mad about what I said about FOX News and short and sweet, I said it was editorials and propaganda pretending to be news, and described a drinking game he could play...the next time it was on (at his father's) take a shot for every time say Bill O'Reilly sarcastically "the Chosen One" or some other bit of petty disrespect, and he did so...his mother asked him why he was drinking so much in the morning and after he explained it (having to take a couple of shots before he could finish) he was kicked out...good thing, he'd have given himself alcohol poisoning!

Others high up get hit with it as well. The abuse against Hillary has been ongoing, and even people who should be above such behavior spread lies about her being part of a pedophile ring (Pizzagate). Of course she's never been POTUS, but she has been an elected official, and I don't think Trump could handle what she has to put up with for as long as she has. (This isn't to say she's a nice person herself. She knows how to twist the knife and will.)

The jokes have always been mean. McCain, who isn't as mean as many (Trump has been far meaner to him and his memory), even passed a joke during the Clinton years of, "Why is Chelsea so ugly? Because Janet Reno is her father." This was meant to insult Hillary and Bill as well as Reno, but that was a girl in high school.

But that's the small stuff. The reason the secret service is on top of their game is because our presidents have a tendency to come to bad ends, getting shot and the like. And with twitter now, it seems all the presidents are being threatened with violence which can't be discounted since some threats of violence come true (but those who make such threats tend to get visits from the Secret Service and the like). Speaking of which, I remember people showing up where Obama was (at least as close as the Secret Service would allow them to get) openly packing guns (even AR-15s) with signs about watering the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants.

Trump turned over more than 1.3 million documents to Mueller.

Trump made available every White House official Mueller wanted to interview.

Trump did not assert Executive Privilege over any documents or individuals Mueller wanted produced or wanted to interview.

Trump submitted answers to Mueller's written questions.

Trump did not fire Mueller, did not fire any of Mueller's investigators, staff or attorneys nor did Trump cut funding for Mueller's investigation.

As head of the Executive Branch of government, Mueller ultimately worked for...Trump.

What's going on in the US House right now reminds me of the old Soviet Union axiom.
"Show me the man...and I'll show you the crime. The leftist lunatic democrats want to rummage through Trump's old business and tax records looking for any irregularity. That's the Communist Soviet Union way, it's not the American way.

In the American way, first you allege a crime. Then you search for evidence of that crime.

Trump isn't going to cooperate with the leftists fishing expedition. Nor should he.

So, leftist Socialist Communist Progressives can suck their thumbs, stamp their little feet, screech, howl, shriek and snivel like the little arrested development infantile pre-teens they are but it will do them no good. In fact, it does Trump lots of good and my fondest hope is that those as$-clowns in the House impeach Trump. They will lose the US House, lose Senate seats and Trump will be reelected by an even larger electoral majority than in 2016.
