Presidents have conversations with staff and cabinet members which involve secret and confidential information.

Sometimes those convos are about foreign leaders...not all of which is flattering and would hurt relations if they became known.

Monica Lewinsky was among those expressing shock Friday morning after it was announced that Ken Starr and Robert Ray—both of whom served as special prosecutors in the investigation that led to the impeachment of President Bill Clinton in the 1990s—were appointed by President Donald Trump to be part of his legal defense team during the U.S. Senate’s impeachment trial.

As Politico reports, Starr and Ray, along with Harvard Law School’s Alan Dershowitz and former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi, will “serve as clean-up hitters behind White House counsel Pat Cipollone and Jay Sekulow” for Trump’s six-person team of lawyers.

Mueller: 'If we had had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so'

Special counsel Robert Mueller issued his first public statement on his investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 election, emphasizing one of the key points of his report: that his office did not conclude whether or not President Trump committed a crime.
In his statement, Mueller said his office could not bring criminal charges against the president because the team believed it to be unconstitutional.
“If we had had confidence that the president had clearly not committed a crime, we would have said so,” said Mueller, adding, “Charging the president with a crime is not an option we could consider.”
"It would be unfair to potentially accuse somebody of a crime when there can be no court resolution of the actual charge,” said Mueller, further explaining the reasoning.
Mueller announced that he was officially resigning from the Department of Justice and returning to private life. He said this was his final statement on the matter, and any testimony he might give to Congress would not go beyond what was in the report.
Mueller has been asked to appear by the House Judiciary Committee, but he hasn’t said if he will. He said no one — presumably referring to officials in the Justice Department or the administration — has instructed him one way or the other about his appearance.
“I hope and expect this to be the only time that I will speak to you in this manner,” said Mueller. “I am making that decision myself, no one has told me whether I can or should testify. There has been discussion about an appearance before Congress. Any testimony from this office would not go beyond our report. It contains our findings and analysis and the reasons for the decisions we made.”

When I was told Robert Mueller worked on the Phoenix Program in Vietnam, I was skeptical. The information came with no evidence though Mueller’s history was a strange one, pure “stealth.”

I have youtube shortcuts on my desktop.
Have used them for years.
Went to click on one this morning belonging to an astrologer.

A 'PRO-TRUMP' youtube channel showed up.
It was "empty" of videos. All show, no substance?

Thought I made a mistake. Closed everything down, and started over.

TRUMPER CHANNEL had taken over.

I wondered about the astrologer.
Opened a new tab, and checked for her channel's existence.

It's still there.

Another thing happened---
During Impeachment 'gavels' at the House, I had taken a print of 'the chart' for each of those, using Washington, DC as the Locality.

Normally that website reads my own locality, and uses that as the default.

I had opened a youtube to watch proceedings 'live'.

Went back to the astrology-chart drawing website, and had ALREADY changed the default setting TO skies over WASHINGTON, DC.

I guess 'Russia' is reading my material????
