BidenBernie is putting up a good fight, but I don’t think he has what it takes to snag the nomination. We need a moderate to snag the moderates, and he’s just so left field that he can’t do that. Even if he does, I personally disagree with several of his policies and I won’t be voting for him. The remainder of the candidates should go ahead and drop out because they don’t stand a chance. Earlier on, I was annoyed to see a Biden supporter, saying that everyone else should drop out and get behind him. He won *one* primary. Bernie won another State. Pete won Iowa, and he's just dropped out. Biden winning, made this more of a race, and they need to let the rest of us vote, before telling us who we should get behind. I'm not getting behind anyone else, until one of them gets the nomination. IP: Logged |

Biden was always projected to win SC... I don’t consider it as ‘momentum’ when already a given. Roughly 10,000 more people voted for Bernie in this year’s SC primary from 2016—a win (genuine momentum) for Sanders in my opinion despite coming in expected second. If Biden had surpassed H.Clinton in SC vote count from 2016 I’d be more confident applauding him for it or ultimately supporting his run against the president’s re-election, but he got roughly 15,000 fewer votes in comparison to her win there in 2016.IP: Logged |

I want everyone to get the chance to vote, before the decision is made, instead of having people tell me on twitter, that I should vote for their guy. I hardly spend any time on there now, because of the in-fighting.IP: Logged |

I don't personally know a Bernie supporter. Which leads me to ask here, how will free education, medicare for all and health care be paid for?? Nothing is free. Educators and Drs dont work for free. Meds, surgical supplies, classrooms and text books are not free. How is this funding going to be accomplished?? ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

I don't know, but when I hear about one doctor ordering a test for someone, and then leaving the practice, leaving them without someone to explain the results to them (because the other doctors don't take their insurance), I wonder why it was ever set up like this in the first place. A girl I know has been going through a hard time, and she's put off therapy, because she has been waiting for insurance to kick in. This is all crazy to me. IP: Logged |

Heard that Mayor Pete had met with President Jimmy Carter!! President Carter probably gave him encouragement some very sound advice. Mayor Pete is 'young'. He was in Intelligence when he served in the military. He has a Future ahead of him.

She’s just giving her reasons for her primary vote - I agree with her on all of it. She’s also assuring the people who have been attacking her, and those who haven’t but might be worried, that she will vote for either of them if they get the nomination. Bernie people have attacked a friend of mine, more than once on there. I don’t see how they think they’re helping him, when they’re willing to sink the rest of us, and wouldn’t vote for Hillary, but they expect everyone to vote for their guy. IP: Logged |

Thanks for explaining. I dont use twitter so no idea what goes on. All this "free stuff" Bernie is offering up is not out of his own pocket. It will cost someone and worker bees, want to guess who?? We already pay for free saftey nets. The taxes already paid isnt enough to keep those safety nets afloat so where will the new funds for new freebes come from? If Bernie knows, he isn't saying and that is for a good reason. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index "Full democracies are nations where civil liberties and fundamental political freedoms are not only respected but also reinforced by a political culture conducive to the thriving of democratic principles. These nations have a valid system of governmental checks and balances, an independent judiciary whose decisions are enforced, governments that function adequately, and diverse and independent media. These nations have only limited problems in democratic functioning. Flawed democracies are nations where elections are fair and free and basic civil liberties are honoured but may have issues (e.g. media freedom infringement and minor suppression of political opposition and critics). These nations have significant faults in other democratic aspects, including underdeveloped political culture, low levels of participation in politics, and issues in the functioning of governance." If you'd like to comprehend how a full democracy is possible, try studying the various sovereign socio-economic systems of the countries listed as currently having it. Start with any and see how we fall short from full democracy. (Norway, Iceland, Sweden, New Zealand, Finland, Ireland, Denmark, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, UK, Uruguay, Austria, Spain, Mauritius, Costa Rica, France, Chile, Portugal) If you're not a genuine "democrat", I can understand why Sander's attempt to restore the US to a full democracy seems like a confused, implausible concept. Bernie will most likely make Election Day a federal holiday so every citizen no matter the politic has THE FREEDOM and access to participate. These types of "benefits" are what a full democracy entitles to it's citizens. IP: Logged |
