A friend posted this: quote: last week in Illinois:A man denied service for not wearing a mask assaulted convenience store clerk in northern Indiana, police said. The assault occurred Wednesday morning at a 7-Eleven in Mishawaka, 5 miles east of South Bend, police said. The man entered the store without wearing a mask and attempted to buy a cup of coffee. When he was told he could not be served because he was not wearing a mask, the man threw the cup of coffee on the female clerk and left, police said. He then returned and was asked to leave by the clerk but instead punched her, knocking her to the floor, and proceeded to further punch and kick the clerk before leaving, police said. The store has signs telling customers that masks must be worn because of St. Joseph County Health Department and federal guidelines, police said. Police did not say whether the clerk was injured.
But I'm stupid for worrying about the safety of others, thanks to Americans who think they have the right to assault and/or kill people. IP: Logged |

And this: quote: Two men were arrested in an assault that left a Van Nuys Target store employee with a broken arm while the men were being escorted out of the store for not wearing masks as required under coronavirus rules, police said. The attack happened at 10:20 a.m. on May 1 at the store at 5711 Sepulveda Blvd., police said. When they were escorted out, one of the men turned and punched a store employee, causing him to fall and break his left arm, police said.

Coronavirus Vaccine vs Herd Immunity - Which Is Better? (Is Sweden Wrong?) Dr. Sten Ekberg (Swedish born) breaks it down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4dR7JExKkk What I took from his video was that countries need to ask themselves, if the virus will be with us for a long time, is what they do (lockdown) sustainable long term? Can countries stay on lockdown for 1-2 years waiting for the virus to die off or for a vaccine to be created? Is it really sustainable? Sweden's approach is to adopt a strategy that is sustainable long term, that is, one that doesn't crush the economy. And Sweden doesn't seem worse off for it. Your thoughts... IP: Logged |

My May 11 post quoted teasel and I added my response which was altered to a mumble. If you look at belage May 12 post, she quoted my response, the response that was essentially deleted from my May 11 post. I have lost patience with this sophomoric censoring and the waste of my time IP: Logged |

Just change the password frequently. My posts were never edited by anyone including the Mods. I used to have other signin info in the past , but I realized later on it is mandatory to have a avatar in the internet world for your own protection. I am sticking with this user handle.IP: Logged |

Maybe you should run a virus scan on your computer, but there's nothing on the board's software that would alter your posts.IP: Logged |

Changing passwords is futile because this is not i secure site.i am warned repeatly that passwords credit card numbers are at risk. This is the same pattern as at AW. I also notice that political comments are not posted immediately yet a can post astrological response and those are posted. Why is it that when i submit a response, the thread immediately appears at the top of the new responses, but my response is not posted.the top response is the last old response .

When a post is made, the thread moves to the top. If you can’t see your post, try refreshing the page, but others can see it. The “secure” warning just means we don’t have the https protocol. We don’t need it, because no one gives their credit card info here.IP: Logged |

Todd, after I post a reply, I have to refresh my browser if I want to see it. If I don't refresh my browser, the reply is still there in the thread, because others can reply to it or quote it, but I cannot see it unless/until I refresh my browser. ETA: my reply came out all garbled so I had to go and manually edit the bold and quote tags myself. IP: Logged |

Todd, clearing your cache frequently and keeping it virus free sounds like it may solve the problem. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Or look into using a VPN software. You have to connect to the client before you browse. That way they will not know where you are coming from. Much secure than no security.IP: Logged |

I was trying to avoid this stuff this weekend, because I have other things on my mind, but we've had a spike in the number of cases per day. http://www.news5cleveland.com/news/continuing-coverage/coronavirus/there-are-now-31-408-covid-19-cases-in-ohio-1-956-deaths We've been in the process of a slow-ish re-open, over the past few weeks, with stores and restaurants opening partially - and now the restaurants have fully re-opened, with new rules.
As I mentioned before, some people weren't being careful at places like large markets, they were talking about it a week ago, and complaining that another market wouldn't let the crowds in this weekend. IP: Logged |
