Do you..or Newsweek know the difference between a coronavirus case...and a hospitalization for coronavirus? Do you understand that testing positive for coronavirus is not a hospitalization statistic?

In which he admits that he asked his people to slow the testing down, so that the official numbers would be lower.

So, are those people who say they won't vote Democrat again, going to vote for the guy who slowed down testing during a pandemic, to keep the official numbers low? The guy who continues to be divisive, because it's what his base loves? He doesn't care about us.

Biden puts China first. Nice choice for a candidate. But I will choose the candidate who puts America first.

This is not Memphis, which you’ve made a claim about. Hopefully you know that Memphis is in Tennessee and not Florida.

Do you plan to respond to anyone on here with something of substance, or are you just posting wild claims with random links?

The more you test for ANY disease, the more cases you will find. that applies to any disease.

The relevant questions are not the number of "cases" but the implication that have for the healthcare system and society in general. So here are the relevant questions:

1. is the test reliable or it gives too many false positives

2. in case someone tests positive, is this person symptomatic?

3. if Symptomatic, how different are those symptoms from any other annual influence?

4. what is the mortality rate among those testing positive?

5. is the mortality rate higher than any other annual influenza?

6. are people hospitalized because they have the virus or because the have other pre-condition (which would be exacerbated either by influenza, corona, etc)

7. are people dying without any pre-condition? if someone with CANCER in terminal stage dies and happened to have the virus, would you say he died because of the virus of because of CANCER?

8. how many people of the symptomatic people who has NO PRECONDITION has died?

Said that, I wonder why we do not test for INFLUENZA any year and make the same exercise. maybe some people who still do not get finally understand why is not such a big deal after all.

Fatality Rate Calculation is simple, total deaths from COVID-19 divided by total positives.

Total Deaths are cross-checked by comparing Average Death Rate in past 5 years for a month compared to Deaths in April 2020, May 2020 and so on. This will more or less match the 120K deaths.

Thus, Fatality Rate is 5.4%, and it checks out with Brazil where Trump Buddy Bolsanaro is doing a great job as well keeping infections below the dangerous 10 million mark.

If this were just another Flu, we would have seen 50-60 million infections in USA alone, with deaths below 60K.

Anyway, this winter season will decide the final fatalaity rate, whther it falls to 1% or less or stays at 5%.

The CDC says .26 percent, and that rate becomes smaller as testing increases.

This says that testing was opened up to everyone here, last week. Now I need to get over my squeamishness, and get this done when I can.

quote:

Reported deaths from the virus increased by 31 since Monday, above the daily average of 23 deaths reported over the past three weeks. There were 87 new coronavirus hospitalizations reported since Monday, above the average of 57 new hospitalizations reported daily in recent weeks.

quote:

Still, DeWine said in order to grow the economy and get people back to work, “It is imperative that we not see significant spikes in the coronavirus.”

quote:
More Ohioans were tested last week than any week since testing began in early March, according to data provided by the Ohio Department of Health.

There were 89,580 people tested within the last week with 4,059 of those testing positive, according to a Dispatch analysis of the data.

The previous high for testing during a seven-day period was 72,515 the first week of June.

Despite the increased testing, the rate at which people tested positive remained at about 5%. That has been the average rate for the last month, according to the data.

The state tested about 12,800 people per day in the last seven days, an increase of 2,600 tests per day compared to the previous 14 days.

More bullshiite from leftists trying to keep America shut down. Playing politics with disease is the cheapest political tactic. Arizona is not short of beds, staff or medical supplies to treat covid 19.

But this is the real situation in Arizona.
Not only do Arizona hospitals have enough capacity to treat a surge...if it occurs, in covid 19 hospitalizations, they have sufficient capacity to continue receiving patients for elective surgeries as well.

"While the number of Covid-19 patients in Arizona's hospitals has continued to increase since the beginning of June, hospital executives say they have enough capacity."

"We continue to have capacity to care for Covid and non-Covid patients, including elective procedures and emergencies," said Keith Jones, communications manager for Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp.'s Arizona operations. "Our hospitals have taken the appropriate steps and are prepared to care for additional patients should a surge occur, working closely with state and local public health and the [U.S. Centers for Disease Control] to respond appropriately for our community."

"Meanwhile, care should not be delayed, especially in an emergency because it could contribute to additional health complications, Jones said."

"Scottsdale-based HonorHealth also continues to offer elective, medically necessary procedures, with no plans to stop doing elective procedures."

"We are continuously monitoring bed, ICU and ventilator capacity, as well as staffing and our supply of PPE," said a spokesman for HonorHealth. "These factors do not support ramping down elective surgery at this time, however, we remain prepared for any surges of Covid-19 patients."

"While currently having sufficient bed capacity, equipment and PPE, HonorHealth staff is prepared for a potential surge in Covid-19 cases. Its visitor restrictions implemented in March are still in place"....

BREAKING: 1 OF 3: Florida announced yesterday they're not counting the icu bed availability anymore, a key element in keeping things open, so the state can proceed to the next phase by July 4.

BREAKING 2 OF 3 I have multiple sources at DOH who have just told me they have been instructed this week to change the numbers and begin slowly deleting deaths and cases so it looks like Florida is improving next week in the leadup to July 4, like they've "made it over the hump."

BREAKING 3 OF 3 I've independently verified they've deleted at least 1200 cases in the last week. They're only reporting all these cases now so they can restrict reporting next week to make everyone think it's over. I've had two DOH employees in different offices confirm

Where's the credible news source story to back up moronic Twitter blather?

People who don't know anything are all over Twitter and Facebook spouting bullshiite.

You just go from one bullshiite story to another. When you get debunked...as your Arizona yapping got debunked, you move on. No standards, no responsibility.

on Snopes.

What's True

The Woodstock music festival took place in August 1969. The H3N2 influenza pandemic lasted between the winter of 1968 and the early months of 1970.

What's False

The 1968 pandemic does not compare to the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of lethality. Also, Woodstock did not take place during one of the Pandemic's seasonal peaks, but in the summer of 1969 when there was practically no reported H3N2 flu activity in the United States.

I can't blame President Trump for recommending closing down the economy (with which the Dems were all too happy to assist), because so-called experts were saying that we would suffer the loss of two million or more American lives if he didn't.
