Not sure how ironic that is. I imagine many legitimate supporters did sign up to try and show some measure of support. I doubt we’ll ever know.On top of the last minute schedule change, last minute reports of coronavirus cases, many states continuing mandatory lockdowns preventing travel, traffic problems, and curfew driving people out, there were organized groups blocking entrance to many attendees (despite teasel’s assertion, I have seen video evidence of this, and heard first-hand reports). The rally did have unbelievable online views, though. That said, it could have been better.
No, it was college students, too. I also saw proof that nobody was blocking anything. You'll believe what you want to believe, and what's frightening, is that those of you who support trump, will believe anything that he says. That is truly scary at times. At least if some people avoided it due to the announcement that six of his campaign members were positive for covid, that means they're thinking more for themselves, and keeping themselves safe. I don't want him to lose in November, because he's killed some of his base. That wouldn't be a happy win.

Not me, I have more important things on my mind, right now. As amusing as last night was, I'm not relaxing and thinking that Biden will win by a huge number. I wanted a different candidate. IP: Logged |

Leftists...including BLM, Antifa, democrat office holders and the leftist media are digging Joe Biden's electoral grave, even as we speak. Joe 'Plugs' Biden will be buried November 3rd.Leftists who believe the majority of Americans are down with abolishing the police, abolishing prisons, abolishing US borders, abolishing the 2nd Amendment, riots, arson, looting and leftist insurrections and the $100 Trillion Green New Deal, are insane, literally. No one is voting for Joe Biden. They are voting against President Trump. But anyone who votes for Biden is voting for looting, rioting, arson, statue removal, memorial desecration, violence, and murder. IP: Logged |

People who attended the rally slept on the sidewalk for FIVE DAYS to see him. How many people would do that to see Joe Biden? IP: Logged |

There are knuckleheads all across this land. Some are the dons supporters, some bidens. If sleeping on a sidewalk is their pleasure, go for it. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

Name calling. Is that it? It can be difficult in the current environment to maintain civility and yet the people I see on this forum, for the most part, are doing that. IP: Logged |

If one thinks sleeping on a sidewalk is brilliant, thats their choice. Personally, yes, I think it takes a knucklehead to do so. Especially with 7,000 seats to play with. ------------------ Partial truth~the seeds of wisdom~can be found in many places...The seeds of wisdom are contained in all scriptures ever written… especially in art, music, and poetry and, above all, in Nature.

I can believe some college kids were in the mix, but as I said, we’ll never know if most of those who signed up for the rally were passive supporters or trolls. What IS of key importance here is the significant online viewership. I expect there were hate-viewers who wanted to sneer at Trump, but people that go out of their way to watch a live rally are often those honestly considering a vote for him. This discounts the majority of voting Americans who really don’t pay attention or care about politics and rallies at all. The scary thing is THOSE people are who determine winners and losers. I don’t know why you think I am blindly believing “what I want to believe”. I was given credible, first-hand information from someone physically present at the rally, who saw one of the entrances blocked by protesters. She also saw the woman who vomited at the security gate. Protesters present were corroborated by a second person at the rally, as well. That’s verified information, and I “believe” it. Regardless, at the end of the day, turnout was less than Trump’s campaign expected. I don’t know how that will pan out for November. I don’t think anyone can really say what will happen until the results of the election are tallied. Everyone must vote for the candidate they feel will prioritize the issues they think are most important. No one can take victory or loss for granted. IP: Logged |

Well, that’s what I’m told all the time: I don’t see and hear things for myself, I should believe what trump tells me, or Fox News (unless they stood up to him for some reason, then I shouldn’t trust them). I’m supposed o believe that this disease is a hoax to bring down America, that wearing a mask makes me weak and afraid, that the police brutality I witnessed was staged, and so on. I could go on. There was news that one entrance was temporarily blocked. Not for long, and there was plenty of time for people to get there and inside. Like I said: if people chose not to pack in there like sardines, during a pandemic, they were smart. They were thinking of themselves and their loved ones.

Not if the Dems can help it. After taking a break during the mass protests where Covid was hardly a blip on the radar and never a reason so stay home, the media has started scaring people again with Covid-19 numbers. They don't want the economy to reopen. IP: Logged |
